Quotes you love -- from people you know

Breathe

Hostis humani generis
What have peopled whom you know personally said to you that has been something you have taken to heart, liked, or live/d by?

This is the same as an ordinary quote thing, except we have the honour of knowing these people personally. These can be from friends, family, neighbours or teachers.

Three things are the most important for long serious0 relationships (friendship, romantic, filial, W/e) : Love, Trust and Comunication. Most of the times two of them are enough but without at least 2 of them being strong, it is not going to work."- Jesus (Actually called "Artur" but everyone calls him Jesus anyways :D )

My three year old boy:

"What am I , dried meat?" (not knowing what chopped liver was)

"I'm sweating like a meatloaf!"

"Whatever your thing is, whatever you choose to do, you have what it takes."
"Students like you give me hope for the future."

Both were by teachers though.

"I'm not going to to give up on you, and I don't hate you." My best friend when I was getting sober.

My family obviously said similar things, but it means more coming from a girl who only knew me a few months, especially when I have the family that would still love me if I commited mass murder.

A professor of mine who visited me here in my hospital room told me: "It's better for you to express your feelings, guilts, frustrations and doubts and be misunderstood, rather than keeping everything to yourself, pretend that you are okay, be unnoticed and end up doing harm either to yourself or to others. So what if people misunderstood you because of that? Being great most of the time means being misunderstood!"

From a friend of mine who visited recently: "Lawrence, there are already many good people in heaven. Wanting to be with them immediately is not a good idea. We need "living saints "here on earth. So have some value on your life!"
