Rape Culture is Real

I sympathise, but how does that work?

Quite simply, permanent separation via penanetery. If they want to rape people, then we have just the place were they might be raped as well.

Are we talking about execution?

That would seem the most humane, however, my faith does not allow for me to make that call.

Perpetual solitary confinment?

No

Inducing some sort of clinical incapacitating condition?

I don't know what that is.

The idea of "forever" erradicating undesirables from society is, at best, a two-edged weapon.

and sending a known sex offender back into society is unconscionable.

Here is the most valuable two cents I can find.

I feel that the culture is sexualized but this by no means makes it a rape culture. Heck people probably know if they would boink the person they mean seconds after first meeting them. The issue with rape is of dominance and violence, we are not in a dominant violent culture, we frown upon that. People sexualizing things isn't rape, people could walk around butt naked and wouldn't make a difference in rape. Further more it seems to me that we are so non-violent that we don't even have the balls or knowledge to do anything about it when it happens in front of our face (see examples of parties going to far and nobody stopping the jocks). Would we rather tweets pics of this stuff instead of stopping it? IDK I try to think people generally have the best intentions but sometimes I am appalled and disappointed.

This topic really disturbs me as I know rape culture is real and I know there is an extreme case of overcompensation resulting in police brutality and prosecution of innocent men and abuse in judicial proceedings resulting in extreme misandry and it also does nothing to prevent the rape culture and misogyny that endures.

Real troubling.

Yes this issue is very disturbing. Someone close to me experienced what could be seen as a violent rape culture, prison, and she mainly had issues with guards but in a system where guards were family and got away with ****. Very traumatizing stuff but I like to think it is safer on the outside, that people are more trust worthy. She always heard the mens is even worse.

I want to highlight the family connection. Families should be the first responders in rape situations, but because of 'Family honour' they are often the worst responders.

Since most people know their rapist, family and friends would literally be the first responders... because most of the time they are the rapist.
