Now lets see what has changed. I suppose nothing has "changed" per se, except for my URL for my website. It's now http://www.dan-bernardo.comI read through some of the forum here and was pleased at what I read. I noticed alot of you are humble in your spirituality and are not claiming to "know everything and be always right." This I liked. Therefore I decided to jump in and share my philosophy with all of you. I'm sure all of you are wondering just what is a Vigil. Well, first I should start at the beginning. (I hope this doesn't take too long 8) ) Well to start off, I was brought up Roman Catholic. So some of my philosophy may mirror it even though its not supposed to. As do alot of spiritual people, I developed physchic abilities and such which now have become more empathic abilities. I am also joined by 6 wolf spirit guides that have helped me understand my role in the spirit world. As wierd as it sounds, I am actually able to smell souls and spirits. Which is due to my soul being part wolf. But thats a whole other story. Through my martial arts experience of around 9 years, I've studied zen and taoism and meditation. These I like. And I also believe them to be close to native american systems, which I like as well. (being a spirit wolf and all.) In conclusion, I would love to discuss my philosophy and way of life with all of you and hope that maybe I can help out some of you as well. And if anyone would like to learn a little more about my philosophy, you can visit my website... http://vigiltemple.8m.com
take care and may the spirits be with you.

I am SO glad you finally got around to "re-introducing" yourself, Michel. I've always wondered about the spelling of your name. It's kind of unusual, so I'm assuming it's the French spelling of the name. Am I right? So you are "tri-lingual"! I am seriously way, way impressed. I would absolutely love to be fluent in more than one language.michel said:I was born in what was the Belgian Congo, Now Democratic republic of the Congo, and my first two languages were Kiswahili, and French.
I already told you we had a lot in common. Unless I'm mistaken, you are the closest RFer to my age. And guess what else? My son is named James Andrew.I am 56, married... with two sons, Andy...[and] James...22.
And although I know there are many beliefs we don't share, this is one that we definitely do.At the end of the day, I believe we will be judged on the true content of our hearts
Wow! Not bad for a 26-year old!angellous_evangellous said:I'm an ordained Baptist minister, 26 years old. I have a BA and MA in New Testament and am working on a PhD in New Testament. I grew up in Lubbock, TX and am now in Fort Worth.
So what is your name? All this time and I haven't learnt it yet.Aqualung said:Ok, I'll follow Matt and reply now, since I'm close enough.
I don't like my name, and right now I am in the process of trying to get everybody to call me by my middle name. I'm trying to accomplish this by, when my teacher call role, saying, "Here, but I go by..." and then I can make people that's my name. My mom had a friend who did that, and it worked fairly well. I just don't remember it. My teachers call roll by my middle name, and I don't answer.
Right now I am in school double majoring in Spanish and Religious studies. This works well, since I always read scripture in Spanish. I'm also trying to get teaching certification in Math and Spanish. The courses I have to take for my math certification are almost as many as for a major, so I'm almost triple majoring. It'll take me 5.5 years to get my bachelors degree.
I love dogs, hate cats. I have two dogs at home that I miss bad. One is a rottweiler-pitbull mix. He's really smart and very sweet. The other is a malamute-lab mix. I'm pretty sure he's retarded. I have a twin brother, and my mom and my dad are still married.
I'm exceptionally smart and excentric. I was one of the best posts on our basketball team (coincidentally, this team did really well notwithstanding our retarded coach). I was also the best shotputter in my conference and #4 at the Oregon State shot put competition last year. I'm not burly, but strong and quick.
I go to bed between 9 and 10 every night. I don't have many friends. I've been a mormon for about 4 months now.
I love music from the 80s, as well as some modern alternative or gothic music. I listen to a lot of spanish 80s music.
I spend a lot of time either here or at www.keepmusicalive.com which you should go to.
That's all I can say.
