Was Abraham not a Jew?
Should all Muslims not become Jews in order to be God's chosen people?
I think a Muslim would tell you, incorrectly, that Abraham was a Muslim and so was Jesus.

Well, by the direct translation of the term "Muslim", they're technically right.
I mean, you know as well as I do that neither Jesus, nor Abraham, were Christians. And that's for sure.
Muslims aren't a race.A race of poeople is not a translation. I can't translate a Jew into a Muslim.
Muslims aren't a race.
What Bob Dixon means here (I believe; correct me if I'm wrong!) is that the literal word Muslim means "one who submits to God".
In this instance, would you say that Jesus and Abraham were not people who submitted to the will of God, but were Christians, for example? Naturally not.
However, the problem is that now "Muslim" has more weight to it. To be a Muslim now is to accept the Quran, prophethood of Muhammad, and so on.
So it's a sort of "no" and "yes" thing in some instances.
Once again, Bob, correct me if I'm wrong here.
I know I sound harsh when I ask this, but...
What the hell is wrong with you?
All Prophets of God were Muslims as they followed God's instructions and obeyed the three pillars so any one who submits to God he is a Muslim ( Salaam, Shalom , Shlama ) = ISLAM.I think a Muslim would tell you, incorrectly, that Abraham was a Muslim and so was Jesus.
you are right Odion that Muslims aren't a race as well as Jews aren't a race and Christians aren't a race.Muslims aren't a race.

I'm not sure about that, Aabraham: one could be a very committed Jewish person, following the teachings of Moses to the very letter, but never becoming Muslim. If you were a Jew and follow Moses's original teachings you would definitely become a Muslim as well as a Christian who follows Jesus's original teaching properly he would be a Muslim naturally
Thank you for your comment and sweet words !!I don't belong to any of these religions, but I must say this thread is a demonstration of pettiness and arrogance.
Are all Muslims petty and arrogant like this (I'd sure hope not)? Is this what Islam represents?
Way to go, Aabraham. You've just managed to make Islam look shallow.
Thank you for your comment and sweet words !!
I have opened a very important subject for all the followers of Judaism,Christinaty and Islam to show them how we the Abrahamic believers have very strong common base as we believe in the same God , and all our Prophets were praying to God in the same way and all of them who were descendants of Abraham were circumcised so their true followers follow them and obeyed their teachings till present.
If all of us ( Jews,Christians and Muslims ) follow our Prophets original teachings in Oneness,Performing Pray and Circumcision you would not be able to distinguish between us as we would perform pray to the same God in a same way in Synagogue,Church and Mosque and there would not be any war or misunderstandings or tensions.
