Recent attacks on American Mosques

I know normally the DIR is for asking questions about a certain religion, so I hope that this post doesn't offend anyone, or break any of the rules. I don't get a chance to get on that much anymore, and I know there's probably already several threads on this topic. But what I wanted to do here was offer my condolences to any who have been hurt, and to offer my thoughts to the Islamic people. Not all Americans are, well, I wanted to be mean, but I won't: but not all of us are that way, or think like that. There are those of us who realize that not all Muslims are terrorists, and that Islam does not promote terrorism. There are those of us who believe the Islamic people to be a good people as a whole, and individually, and who do not wish harm on them. I, for one, welcome them to the US, and I hope that the violence against them soon stops.

Muslims in America are free to practice their religion , as they like.

I am off the belief that Muslims bring these things upon themselves because of the fact that we have strayed far away from true Islam.

Ignorance has always existed and will always exist.
