Red pill Or Blue pill?

Some would say those that choose the red pill are people who have trust in the scientific community, the "truth-seekers" of the human species. (SCIENCE/Religion(?))

While others would say those that choose the blue pill are people who wish to remain in absolute bliss without curiosity of the "truth". (RELIGION/Science(?) )

Of course the definition of meaning of what the blue and red pill mean are not subject to black and white analogies.

I believe that Science is a great tool that is used to understand the world around me more. And the more science progresses and understandings the world around it, the more beauty of nature, as well as potential destruction, is unveiled and it is glorious. As science progresses, so does my faith in "X,Y,Z God(s)" that I believe in. It progresses and strengthens. Yes I do believe something, whether being or not, created this magnificent thing of space and time and matter.

I also believe that spirituality (religion/science) and curiosity (human beings/science/religion) are good tools to use to understand the world around us. In these regards, the essence of soul, the unknown, emotion and feeling given to said (X, Y, Z) towards it, defines our curiosity and desire to want to know the truth of the world.

Both work hand in hand, in my honest opinion.

I took the Red Pill without any regrets.

Which pill did you take? Or have you yet to decide?

I would take the truth every time. I don't care how bad it is or how uncomfortable it makes me, if knowing the truth would completely ruin my life and remaining ignorant would make me prosperous beyond my wildest dreams, I would still take the truth knowing the consequences.

What if your so-called "liberation" from the Matrix was just another illusion. You may think you are out of the cave, but you are still gazing at shadows on the wall.

Every step closer to exiting the cave is a step in the right direction.

Maybe part of the illusion is believing that there is an exit. Maybe we are always going to be stuck within illusion and neither the verisimilitudes of science nor the revelations of religion will ever be a means in which we overcome illusion.

Science as the red pill and spirituality as the blue pill? Hmm... Not liking it, because almost always the two are either conjoined, and whenever separated it is always the red pill.

I prefer to look at it as Red Pill = Nihilism, and the Blue Pill = Existentialism.

I think that if something exists it can be known, so I don't believe the truth is absolutely unobtainable. We may not currently have the right tools or prerequisite knowledge to attain knowledge and understanding about a particular thing, but I don't think we can never know truth.

Simply because of that I considered something further.

Where "Blue Pill" = "Position you want to hold"
and "Red Pill" = "The position you least want to hold".

Simply because I know for a fact that there are people, for example, who would hate for there to be a God, judgement, and afterlife.

Simply, if i was presented with an offer to know 'the truth' or to avoid it and even forget i was ever offered this offer, i would chose to see that supposed truth regardless of what it was.

I don't think i can really help that, though. As in, i hardly see it as much of a choice.

Which pill did you take? Or have you yet to decide?

I don't think that example can apply comfortably to my life in anyway, but to try and answer your question, i've accepted things i thought were probably true despite not being particularly happy about it, or liking those supposed truths. I think i do that often, actully. I don't regret doing it, and i'm open to changing my mind further about the supposed truths i've already accepted in all sorts of regards, since after all, it's always possible they were not necessarily true to begin with, despite my thinking that they were (and that's why i think the example was unfitting, because life is not that simple).

I'm more open in some regards than others, though.
