Regretting sex change

It's normal...when in the United States there is a laissez-faire that make anyone undergo that delicate medical procedure.
In my country there is a trial. Yes, a trial: with your lawyer, the prosecutor that represents the State and the judge, and the judge ascertains whether the person has the profound convinction of changing sex definitively, after analyzing the medical evidence and the psychological expertise.

The failure of liberalism and permissivism, ladies and gentlemen.
Gross. What an invasion of privacy and bodily autonomy.

The State here does invade people's privacy, when it comes to your sex life.
I give you an example. Once a woman told - on national TV - her traumatic experience she had back when she had an abortion for the first time.
She was 19. She had to undergo a psychological visit and the psychologist was a woman in her sixties who was very judgmental.
And she was angry because she couldn't understand how someone can become pregnant in 2023.

She wanted to know how it happened, whether the man who had got her pregnant was her husband, boyfriend or a stranger.
She even wanted to know what kind of contraceptives she used and the intercourse in detail.
I am not joking. That's what they do here.

That's disgusting.
I'm so happy I live in a free country.

This is a good video. Not funded by anyone. Not extreme in any way. Not advocating anything, just explaining her position and what happened to her

Key points:
  • The need to transition was a result of sexual trauma
  • The vocal change is a huge issue, and you can see she gets choked up talking about it
  • Ultimately it was massive hair loss that started the detransition process
  • Her original therapist counseled against it, but she abandoned that therapist and went to an LGBT therapist who said they would have given hormones after the first session
  • She accepts responsibility for the choice, but also says she shouldn't have been allowed to do it
  • She also points to social media for encouraging her to transition, she said it was her only social connection

Is it normal?
She probably used to be a beautiful girl with a beautiful feminine voice and because of a woke culture that indoctrinates people instead of leaving them alone, she went through all that.
I am shocked.
Too much permissivism.

Does anyone here know the statistics on regretting receiving a sex change? I’m reading 1% which is 100 out of 10,000 people. That seams like a lot of people are still unsure before they had it done.

Here's a recent(2022) article about detransitioning and it discusses a little about regret

I read where the regret only generally starts after 3 to 5 years. You might to ask Jenner, as he made a transition as an adult, and I heard he started having regrets. Thankfully people are suing in Texas, and the Missouri AG is trying to cut off the process in Missouri. A 13 year old supposedly doesn't know enough to get tatoos without parental consent, how are they going to consent to have body parts wacked off. Thankfully, people are starting to sue the so called medical professionals. A couple of large cases, and the spicket may be cut off. A few child abuse cases and then the medical professionals can be put in jail.

Normal? I haven't watched enough testimonials to know. All I know is it happens.

I suspect that sexual trauma is the root cause in this case. And I suspect this is happening a lot more than we know. Unreported trauma makes sense especially if it is happening online like it did for her. The WPATH standard of care lists this among other risk factors for gender confusion / gender rejection which are not a result of normal gender non-conforming with their body. So, if there is a lot of sexual trauma happening online, then yes, it would be normal for young people to get caught up in the tranition process eventhough it does not address the underlying problem. Those people would be at a higher risk of regretting the irreversible changes.

I wouldn't blame the woke culture for this. I think that there is a need for a minority group to advocate for itself. And it makes sense for outsiders to support that advocacy. If you'll note, her first therapist gave the right advice. Then she sought out a "bad" therapist. What I want to know is, where were her parents? Where was her Dr? Or better yet, where was the team of professionals that are supposed to be guiding the process? She sounded like she did this all on her own as a teenager.

There is no "history" to investigate. Cutting off child body parts and injecting unproved chemicals in large numbers is a new abomination.

Regarding parents...maybe she was an emancipated minor? Doesn't explain the lack of professionals most the time they are involved when a minor transitions. I aint watched the video yet.

Edit:
I also wonder about her age. I have bad facial recognition so i cant pinpoint about how old she is most faces look like blurs to me but perhaps guidelines might've changed since she was a child?

That's not how it works here, and you didn't hear that from any where credible.
There are guidelines, procedures, evaluations and all sorts of physical and mental poking and prodding.

Actually everyone has one (cartilage that covers the larnyx), it's just usually more prominent in men due to hiw testosterone effects the development of the vocal chords.
FtMs are known for developing a protrusion in theirs as well.

Yes. But they tend to be more prominent in males because the male larynx generally grows bigger and faster during puberty.

Being I see what looks like an adams apple, I wondered if hormone therapy made them grow bigger(more prominent) in female to male. .
