Religion and spirituality

brokensymmetry

ground state
Religion is the term for the worship of gods or god, or the beliefs and rituals associate with ultimate reality or meaning, or something like that. Spirituality is the term used by people practicing religion who want to feel exceptional and that they are somehow above the crowd and doing this in a manner that is deeper than their neighbor.

What's your definition of these two terms, and how are they different and similar?
Spirituality is not bound to a certain faith. It's not associated to only this or that religion. Nature does not differential in color, race, believe, country or faith. Living examples are sun doesn't only shine on one particular kind, but on everyone (No differentiation), The air we breath doesn't differentiate, we all breathe the same air. The list goes on and on with endless physical evidences.
Every soul comes from one source and must return to the same one source. Having religion is NOT a bad thing at-all. Its a choice of moving forward within a certain faith/religion. Having said that one is not bound of salvation by a certain belief.
I would rather follow one religion (Spirituality), that brings everyone equally under one umbrella. It's easy to reject others than accepting others. My God does not differentiate. That's what makes Him Absolute in every aspect we think of Him. Stay Blessed.
