They cant win by default. :no:If they wanna share the booty they will have to be a religion. Besides if god comes down from heaven there will be no reason to think he does not exist. So i guess that will mean their in the firing line as well.

Because it's seriously the only one that really makes sense to me, and because I really believe it's the one that is destined to be established forever -- and not by bloodshed either. Of course it won't be known by the same name as it's known by now, but will just be known as Jesus Christ's Church. And by the time God has declared the "winner," even the people who don't want to have anything to do with it now will be standing in line waiting for their proxy baptisms to be performed.

Difference is no religion would know which religion athiests were aligned with (cause it was so new and all) so they would be reluctant to kill them in case they were one of their own. Also, us athiests are pretty hard to convince so I'm not sure we would just up and believe like you think. Besides we'd probably just think he was a hostile alien and try to blow him out of the sky!!:slap:

Exactly...thats why i think atheist have a good chance as well. That 'blowing up god' thing is exactly what one would need to get the job done on others.

I think it would be Wicca that would win. All the other religions would be so hell-bent on destroying each other with the "my god is greater than your god" that they would forget about the "tree-hugging witches." When in reality, they would be sitting there laughing at the rest of us for not understanding the true nature of god.

Well it was 'god' in this scenario who came up with the idea. So there wouldnt be a 'my god and your god'. However, it could very well be, that when the god in my scenario comes down and proclaims this, many will not think he is their god. But still those who do, would be after you like a bloodhound.
