Religion showdown!

Don't take this the wrong way, it is just my personal opinion....

Which religion would win?... NONE. No religion would win over another because Man was never meant to have religion in the first place. When God supposedly created Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, did he give them both a copy of the Bible and say unto them "you must be Christians and follow the bible or else"? I don't think so. When humans first evolved on the planet (if going the evolutionary route) did they carry around bibles? Did they have religion? I don't think so. They lived amongst the animals and lived like the animals. No religion, no God. That's the way things should be in my opinion. That's the way things were in the beginning. If there were a God, would he not have just preferred humans to stay the way he originally created them? Pure, natural, and simple? Did God intend for there to be religion? I don't think so. I think humans have gone too far already. We must step down from our "minds" and our "egos" and learn what it's like to be animals once again. Animals are closer God. After all, animals never got kicked out of the metaphorical "Garden of Eden" did they? Yet they still live amongst us, why is that? Humans are simply animals that have lost their way.

Hunny animals live a simple live, without a bible, and without a pope, but they have no conscience do they? They kill to survive. If we go back to being animals...then in my scenario here it would be rather easy to kill each other.

That conscience that you speak of, is it not also the so-called "knowledge of good and evil"? Humans were not supposed to have that "conscience" in the first place were they? They were supposed to merely know life and nothing else. Animals know life also, they live for life, nothing else. Humans supposedly ate from the Tree of Knowledge, and became "aware" of things. It was only then that the notion of killing for food and survival became considered "evil". When animals kill for food to survive is it evil? Is it a bad thing? Would humans be any worse if they did not know any different?

Humans should live a simpler life.

Done here.
God comes down from heaven and says: THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE! Which ever religion can root the others out completely gets the prize. God promises to establish them forever and give them everything he has got.

He does not rule out any method to get the job done. Even if it means bloodshed.

Which religion do you think will win?
Whichever one is the most evil. Which will be appropriate, since then they and their god will match.

As God does not give a method of battle, I asume all religions will keep following their original thought and "love" their way through the battle. I asume there will be a lot more vasting, meditation and praying that time. Some extra volunteeringwork etc..

except satanists...
They don't need the "love for God".. But they did hear something about "everything he has got"... So as they would be the only ones raging war, satanists will win.

I disagree, the satanists will probably will be the first to go, in a passionate yet well executed lynch as they would be seen as enemies to the cause ;)

No no.. A christian stands here on his spot, God comes down to him and say to him he needs to "win" in any way and the christian starts killing?? I don't think so..
I bet they will all start screaming it is some sort of test from God or so and thé thing they do not need to do is kill.. lots of religious people love tests!!

Greetings!

Clearly the great error in all this is viewing this as a competition and calling for one winner and many losers!

I quote the Baha'i scriptures:

"There can be no doubt whatever that the peoples of the world, of whatever race or religion, derive their inspiration from one heavenly Source, and are the subjects of one God. The difference between the ordinances under which they abide should be attributed to the varying requirements and exigencies of the age in which they were revealed. All of them, except a few which are the outcome of human perversity, were ordained of God, and are a reflection of His Will and Purpose. Arise and, armed with the power of faith, shatter to pieces the gods of your vain imaginings, the sowers of dissension amongst you. Cleave unto that which draweth you together and uniteth you."

—(The Proclamation of Baha'u'llah, p. 114;
also Gleanings, CXI, pp. 217-8)

Best! :)
