I could live with that.

I'd prefer non-existence when I die than being in either heaven and hell. Heaven and rewards hold no appeal to me whatsoever.

200 Years ago most if not ALL people would have never believed a multi ton hunk of metal could carry hundreds of people around the world at 300,000 feet high at 600MPH. That is where you are in your belief system.

A great Book to read is A Case for Faith" written by a Lawyer/Journalist who uses those disciplines to make a case for the existence or NON existence of God. He made a "Case for Faith"

I think that you should read some dystopian novels, to see that because technology improves, and society constantly marches towards tomorrow, civilisation may not progress towards an imagined Utopia. "1984", by George Orwell, comes to mind.

It really depends.

Are you going to be cremated? Then yes.

Are you going to be buried? Then no. The worse thing about this you will remain wearing your smelling socks until worms eat them.

Are you going to be embalmed? Then no. You will wear your socks forever and ever.

I have no idea what arrangement you have made, in the event that you die. Of course, you can make arrangement of not wearing socks if you are being buried or embalmed. Just make sure you have them clip and file your nails down.
