I agree UV! Most Christians I've met seem to live life totally opposite of Jesus' example. Especially the ones who are constantly condemning others. There are a few specials ones, but its amazing how often people dismiss their core religious teachings without realising it. I'm not just refering to Christianity.

It is for this reason that when a figure enters the public consciousness who many will label as "the antichrist", that person will deserve your attention... for exactly the reasons you have given. He will be the One... and not too many are going to like that because he will not be coming to support their thinking hence he will earn their vilification.

Give it another 60 years...

The thing is he won't be the alleged "anti-Christ" but his words will threaten the very roots of those who will despise him simply because he isn't what they expected.

By saying "I am an antichrist.", I mean that I reject the idea that Jesus was God in the flesh on Earth. Per the writer of 1 and 2 John.

Since you're Jewish, I wonder if you were curious as to the opinion of the Christian members of RF? As Jews don't believe in this.

My definition of 'Antichrist', like my definition of 'Satan' is nothing like the standard Christian meanings.

To me, the 'Antichrist' is not some 'spawn of satan' or any such supernatural force as depicted in such ways as seen in the movie 'The Omen'.

No, there is only one candidate... the Anti-Jew. He's been around a lot longer than Yeshua, so I'd say the 'Antichrist' has been here all along.

I believe the devil/satan/serpent/dragon is the son of perdition which is in all men. Christ is also to be found within, as God gives us faith to believe.

So, I believe that the anti-christ has been here and is still with us, until the Lord removes him from the heart of man, in order that Christ may have the pre-eminence and Lordship in our hearts. God IS Love.
