I understand that. I just don't think socialism is going to change any of that. Or government and our parties engage in unethical behavior but people continue to support them.

People are too complacent and docile. If the severe exploitation, garbage, waste, and criminal conduct was kept here in America, rather than being exported, we would see a radical paradigm shift in American economics. And, unfortunately, the only political supporters anymore are the only ones who vote. More and more people just don't give a damn about it. And it doesn't help that corporate dollars are being pumped, at staggering rates, into giving people more of what the don't want: absurd mudslinging political ads.
