Religious Lineage

The truth behind what the world fights about. If the majority of religions believe there is 1 god then why are we not at peace? Why does that not allow us to love one another?

Not at all. Who isn't right? Who isn't wrong?

History is a slave, not a Master.

Which answers?

That's because they're stuck on the page. The answers aren't on the page.

That's a good question. Especially when we consider that all those majority religions teach their members to love all people.

Yes! That is what I am getting at. The world is at war with muslims yet that is what Muhammad preaches. Catholics have an intense hatred towards many. What happened to the Jews? Thousands of years of oppression. Why? Religion teaches us nothing of this. It goes back to my original posting. The lineage is the same for all groups. What is wrong with the world?

That's what I said too. I think there are a wide variety of factors but the main ones being people not practicing what their religion teaches. People are able to do all the little details but they miss the big picture.

How did you arrive at the belief no one can get to god unless through Jesus? How many times does one say "Oh God"? He is listening, all the time and responding. He is everywhere, in our hearts, in the way we live our life and choose to treat others. He is there when we fall off our paths to guide us along. Myself I have spoken with him many times and my requests answered.

What do you mean?

Who says the world fights about the truth? Couldn't each of us be fighting over our own lies with nobody fighting for the truth?

If the majority of religions believe there is 1 god then why are we not at peace?
Maybe the "majority of religions" are wrong. Maybe "belief" and "God" are part of the problem.

Why does that not allow us to love one another?
Great question! Why do you think that is so?

Yes, rather sad isn't it? I wonder whether we will ever be one? Many have predicted so. I hope for future generations!

You just said it. People are fighting to protect their lies!

I am unsure why we can't all love one another as we should. There will of course always be those we do not get along with, yet should we have a common respect for anothers life? Could that change the evil in the world? Who knows?

Because tthat is what my eligion teaches. In oreder to attain the highest level of heaven a person must have:

1. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
2. Repent of their sins
3. Be baptized by immerssion by someone with authority.
4. Recieve the Gift of the Holy Ghost
5. Obey the commandments to the best of ones ability.

I'm not saying that everyone must do this in this life to communicate with God. But I do believe everyone must do these things either in this life or the nest to return to God's presence after the resurrection.

Let's explore that. I think you've presented an fruitful inquiry.

What do you think leads one person not to respect another person?

Am I different? I don't protest to have never telling a lie. But I am annoyed and frustrated at the way the world looks at one another. This country hates another. This religion hates that religion. Why? I really just can't understand it. In the end there really is only one truth and we need to find our way back to it

Well, this is my theory and again I don't believe it is the only answer. I believe in taking things right back - to where evil began with Kane. I believe there to be true evil in the world and I believe the original religious teachings where there to move us to love and respect one another. I believe evil is constantly fighting against this and has over the centuries provided many lies and power players to enable this and has turned man against man. I really feel there is quite often the most simplest of explanations.

Is there only one truth? Most everyone thinks they HAVE found their way back to it. Could that be where the hatred starts?

Maybe the "one truth" is that there isn't one truth.
