Relying Too Much on the Internet

No, I do not want others to see my face on the computer screen. My counselor sees my face in a Zoom meeting and I see his face, but that is an exception I will make since that is the only way I can have an appointment.
Why? I've seen your face it definitely is not repulsive. Is this some kind of phobia? I know you have generalized anxiety.

No, It is not a phobia. I just don't like the way I look in the Zoom meetings, and I don't like looking back at myself.
I never look in the mirror either.

Bridging the Gap Between Believers and Skeptics
Well, I decided to reverse pretty much my whole decision to rely on the Internet less. I created a new Discord account using my primary email, reactivated my Twitter and I'm still talking to my two closest online friends. But there's still light at the end of this tunnel: my neighbor has told me that it looks like they will re-open the community room here. So I'll have neighbor friends and my online friends as well.

I can't relate. People love me in real life and online. It's the curse of being fantastic. Although I must say, I handle it elegantly.

Ladies, how you doin'?

Now I'm jealous.
Eventually I might post my photo in my Avatar. I am biding my time right now.
@Truthseeker has special privileges since he is my bff going all the way to Planet Baha'i. You are special too since we date back a long time. I can post my photo in a Conversation if you want to see it but only if you reciprocate.... fair is fair. :D

I'll think about it, I'm a bit like you about photos.
