I am afraid not. You compared her to Obama in experience. That comparison if held similar would imply either Obama was qualified for the task (which doesn't seem apparent in context) or that Obama was a much needed breath of fresh air. Which again, doesn't seem apparent in the context of your other comments.
I guess I am just curious as to why you thought the comparison was relevant.
Tell ya what, get rid of religion, and I'll happily get rid of atheism. There's no reason to be talking about specific religious beliefs at a public school, and whilst atheism isn't a religion, there seems no place for discussion about it either.

Because, IMV, being in a State senate is a much as a feet wetting experience on a national level as being involved the school system as was Betsy DeVos experience.

To give the devil her dues, I was very surprised to see she didn't initially stand for rescending Obama's statement on trans-rights, and caved under pressure.
But yet I wouldn't shed a tear if the entire Court were locked in the Oval Office and a super intense flash fired broke out. They've been throwing rights out the window since day one, and hopefully it stops sooner rather than later. The only solace is that he has been throwing away people's rights and liberties, and since Dems usually loose the "off year" elections, it will put them in a better position to storm Capital Hill in 2020.

Well look at the UK and other European countries that have state religion in the school curriculum, I'd be more worried about this putting kids off religion!

History can help you understand how they press down freedoms even the things you thought you have to accept as you find out it took more from you then just brainwashed acceptance.
I appreciate this might be your truth, but being cryptic doesn't help communicate your point. I have a good handle on 'history', but it's a rather broad study area.
