Undercover: Chicago Democratic Election Judges Pretend to be Republican Judges

In this Project Veritas Action video, an undercover journalist exposes how election judges in Chicago were violating election regulations regarding the equal representation of judges in the Republican and Democratic parties. There is supposed to be an equal number of Republican and Democratic judges on election day to ensure equal representation. However, the undercover journalist discovered that Democrats were pretending to be Republicans, resulting in unfair and disproportionate representation.

(Excerpt from the video's briefing.)

Sneaky Buddhist.

You know that Veritas is ran by a guy who has been caught multiple times manipulating footage and flat-out lying, right? As in, unquestionably lying?
You got sources that these people are just actors?

From the best of my knowledge Veritas had shown the full context of the discussions they had with Democrat employers, and if there was manipulation of footage. In one example even MSM acknowledged this which ended up getting two Democrat strategist fired.

You know, the left are crazy.

I am just suggesting extreme caution when taking news from an outed fraud. But then again, ****ing Peter Popoff still manages to have a career, so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.

Again, what fraud are you talking about? All I'm hearing is lefty rhetoric based on feelings and bias rather than with any shred of evidence.

Caution I get, and I came into this thread with a grain of salt because the title was bizarre to say the least. Of course after looking into it, Buddhist was either intentionally misleading in the threads title name, or unlikely but perhaps a very poor and hasty creation thread. Point is, leftists are known to be lairs, so if anyone should be concerned about poor content it would be non-leftists.

The ACORN business, the Planned Parenthood recordings, the NPR video...

Really, every major thing James O'Keefe has ever done.

Independent external investigation by Proskauer Rose
On September 16, 2009, ACORN suspended advising new clients and initiated an independent review process, headed by Scott Harshbarger, an attorney from the Proskauer Rose firm and a former Massachusetts Attorney General. On September 16, Bertha Lewis, ACORN's CEO, froze admission to all of ACORN's service programs and instituted a review committee to implement organizational reforms. The independent external investigation found that while some of the counsel given by employees and volunteers was "unprofessional and inappropriate", the videos that had been released appeared to have been edited, "in some cases substantially", and ACORN employees had taken no illegal actions.

Report by the Congressional Research Service
On December 22, 2009, the Congressional Research Service (CRS) released a report on ACORN activities, commissioned by the House Judiciary Committee. It stated that ACORN has not been found to violate any federal regulations in the past five years. In addition, findings included: There were no instances of voter fraud by individuals who were allegedly registered to vote improperly by ACORN or its employees; No instances where ACORN violated terms of federal funding in the last 5 years. The CRS found that O'Keefe and Giles may have violated Maryland and California laws banning the recording of face-to-face conversations without consent of both parties.

Investigation by New York attorney general
The New York Attorney General, Andrew Cuomo, began an investigation on September 15, 2009, to ensure that state grants given to ACORN were properly spent. The New York City Council suspended all ACORN grants while the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office conducted an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the videos. On March 1, 2010, the District Attorney's office for Brooklyn determined that the videos were "heavily edited" to give a misleading impression, and concluded that there was no criminal wrongdoing by the ACORN Brooklyn staff filmed in the videos. A law enforcement source said, "They edited the tape to meet their agenda."

Investigation by the U.S. Government Accountability Office
On June 14, 2010, the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) released its findings on ACORN, by then disbanded. It said that there was no evidence that the group, or any of its related organizations, mishandled any of the $40 million in federal money that they had received in recent years

And?

ACORN was caught aiding and abiding criminals, being in support of underage prostitution, and got millions of dollars in taxpayer money. After they were exposed, ACORN was defunded by the senate through the democrats. The IRS severed ties, everyone cut ties with ACORN. I guess when they were on board to help accommodate underage prostitution, that was where most cut ties.

The "edited" version was due to time and relevance.

That's, like, the exact opposite of what every investigation found.

Simply put: your statement is a lie.

After they were exposed, ACORN was defunded by the senate through the democrats.
Yes. During the witch hunt: everyone severed ties to cover their own butt.

ACORN was legally vindicated but ended up killed anyway. It was a successful hatchet job.

"The video releases were heavily edited to feature only the worst or most inappropriate statements of the various ACORN employees and to omit some of the most salient statements by O'Keefe and Giles. Each of the ACORN employees recorded in California was a low level employee whose job was to help the needy individuals who walked in the door seeking assistance. Giles and O'Keefe lied to engender compassion, but then edited their statements from the released videos." ~

They simply got caught and lost all credibility. If exposing corruption and for supporting underage prostitution is a hatchet job, then I'd think you're another crazy leftist with no sense.

Or, you're a conspiracy theorist.
Did I miss the part where it's all on camera?

“The sensational Giles and O’Keefe”–Who exposed this latest bit of corruption at ACORN? — The FBI? The local police? A congressional investigating committee? The mainstream media? No, no, no, no. It was a 20-year-old-girl named Hannah Giles and a 25-year-old law student and investigative journalist named James O’Keefe. ~ The Washington Times

Dunno. But you clearly missed the post where 3 separate state AGs, the GAO, and an independent investigator determined that the videos were heavily manipulated and ACORN had done nothing illegal.

Me, the GAO, the AGs office of all states involved, and the independent investigators?

You may want to look elsewhere for the actual solution.

The undercover journalist: "There's going to be 13 El Salvadorean girls coming to this (prostitute house) And they're very young. And we don't want to put them on the books."

ACORN: On the other part of the return. You can use them as a dependent, because they live in your house.

A small snippet taken from one of the videos, and more could be found if one bothers to look. No illegal action took place because no transition took place, but it is clear (and part of the reason why ACORN is now bankrupted) ACORN got caught on camera for being in support of sex-trafficking underage girls.
