Do:
If a post has multiple possible inferences, don't presume one.
Ask for clarification. This avoids those annoying straw man arguments.
Don't:
Start a thread with....
"Watch the usual suspects come here to defend <hated politician>."
2) Not all bad behavior should be against the rules.
Advice against some types should suffice.
Examples of things to avoid....
- Repeatedly demonizing the other side in religious, political,
& economic discussions (broken record syndrome).
- Creating echo chambers which dis other members.
