And I posted some of that. I shouldn't have to repeatedly post what says the same thing over and over. Like this book, it uses different words, from a different decade, but it says basically the same thing. If you post anything, first ensure that it's not mere
bias confirmation. Find something that shows the
claim we've been arguing about, ie, that people
are in jobs with impossibility of advancing or
switching.
This isn't those with autism who are failing. When it comes to autism this system is just as bad as the system Jehovah made where very, very few are actually granted salvation and allowed into the Kingdom. Amd when these system sees 70-80% of a demograph being under and unemployed it is definitely the system.People who fail love to blame the system.
Or you could ditch the excuses, grow up and quit denying research. They should take the advice I gave earlier.
As H Ford said...My advice to people who feel trapped in a bad job:
Grow up.
Ditch the excuses.
Plan.
Execute plan.
Celebrate.
Whether you think you can,
or think you can't, you're right.
Autistic people still face highest rates of unemployment of all disabled groups | AutisticaStudies estimate a staggering 50-75% of the 5.6 million autistic adults in the U.S. are unemployed or underemployed. Nearly 50% of 25-year-olds with autism have never held a paying job, despite having the skill sets and expertise to excel in the workplace.
Employment | Autism SocietyJust 21.7% of autistic people are in employment.
Autism and Employment Statistics (Adults) - Update 2023More than 66% of young adults on the Autism spectrum are unemployed

Wrong. I was addressing your posts. Not my fault that you ignored it all to whine about lazy employees being unable to manage a crumbling economy.Instead of quoting me, you're addressing mistaken inferences based upon baggage.
Good thing that - again - I don't work for you. It's not making a case for employment.

"Lazy" is your word.Wrong. I was addressing your posts. Not my fault that you ignored it all to whine about lazy employees being unable to manage a crumbling economy.
Good thing that - again - I don't work for you.
Because you've said it in all but the word alone, Revolting."Lazy" is your word. I wonder why it came to you.
Yep. Oh, I'm sorry I did forget where you quoted Henry Ford of all bloody people. So tell us, when's the Pizza Party? Or is that a bit too modern for a "back in the day" work ethic? Do you plan to ever address any of the sound and factual challenges facing much of the work force, or is your go-to Scroogism just going to remain firmly rooted in "excuses" because you rode the crook-thumb express when you were a kid? Asking as the demand for demeaning anecdotes is at an all time low.An accusation of "whining"? Those in glass houses....
Not seeing much that's factual or relevant from you.Because you've said it in all but the word alone, Revolting.

So in other words you're seeing what you want to see. Not surprising there. A few facts, Revolting:Not seeing much that's factual or relevant from you.
Well...passion & victimhood.
Such long posts. So in other words you're....
Ah, and such enters the "I don't have an argument that can stand to a 5 mph wind, time to break out the 'you're boring' act". Change the playbook, dude. Especially if you're going to demand evidence and then summarily ignore it.Such long posts.
Let me know if one is worth reading, eh.
Evidence should be relevant to the claim.Ah, and such enters the "I don't have an argument that can stand to a 5 mph wind, time to break out the 'you're boring' act". Change the playbook, dude. Especially if you're going to demand evidence and then summarily ignore it.
I can't exactly copy/paste a book.That's a link to a book.
Not evidence about the claim.
Autistics a functioning and capable. If you actually bothered to read what I did copy/paste you'd see this is qualified and capable. And when a group of well qualified and capable people consistently can't get suitable work or any at all it is a problem with the system. It seems we're continuing to not discuss the same thing.
I'm dealing with functioning people capable of working,
planning, deciding, & acting. Unemployable or barely
employable people aren't victims of employers, ie, the
complaint I saw made.
Because you've said it in all but the word alone, Revolting.
Also, the idea that socialism is the equivalent of fascism, when the goal of capitalism would be for people to work for nothing.I always smile when I hear the phrase "job creators". Employing people is an overhead to business, to be minimized as far as possible. It doesn't make them evil necessarily, but they are not knights in shining armor because they create jobs.
It can be done. I’ve run across some who make even the Amish
look “English”. But few choose it, and fewer still do it long.
Back in the 70s, I traveled by hitchhiking, slept under bridges,
and lived in an old pickup (moochdocking). That’s as off the
grid I ever got. One does what’s needed when in between jobs.
That can easily cost more than a car if you have to rely on it, and it's unreliable in many places.
What do you got if your home has no available public transport?Get a bus pass. Even if it's not cool. If you have to move in order to make it work, do so. That's my advice.
I'd move. What do you got if your home has no available public transport?
