Voted other but there are probably enough Baha'i on here to warrant at least a mention in the other category.

Hmmmm....those numbers are quite telling Shiranui. It puzzles me as to why those who express NO belief in God would want to hang around a "Religious" discussion site? 50% of the responders here are atheists! Wow! They obviously have to push their agenda in order to reinforce their collective belief that they have no one to answer to for their godlessness.

Safety in numbers perhaps? Fascinating.....
Or we are here because religion is inexorably linked to history, culture, social studies and politics that impact us in very real ways, and religions (plural, there's more than just Christianity here you know, and way more than just your brand of theism to read about) is interesting and worth exploring even if just academically.
But what do I know, you're probably way better at establishing our motives than us.

None of the choices really apply to me, but I suppose I'll go with 'other' even though I'm 'eclectic'. Or should I vote 'eclectic' because I'm 'other'? o_O

My, my, my! Is it not somehow wonderfully odd that the very large majority of the people who have responded to this -- on a board called "Religious Forums" -- are not religious at all?

Nah, they're religious. I haven't found a human yet who isn't strongly devoted (aka, religious) about something.... even if it's being religious about not being religious. :D

Reasons why I wish my culture would move past "religious" necessarily meaning stuff like "goes to church every Sunday and worships an Abrahamic god."

Because I'm curious about RF's current religious breakdown, here's a poll. Choose the answer that best describes your religious preference (or lack thereof). Feel free to comment below if you wish to shed additional light on your answer. Also, sorry if jimmies are rustled by the options or grouping of options; having a limited number of poll options to add is annoying.

There has to be a more accurate way to get these statistics. All you are getting is those who 1) saw you post, and 2) wanted to respond. It could be representative, but how do you know? Interesting, nonetheless.

Yeah, but unless someone smarter than me can come up with a better idea, I'm afraid we really have no other more reliable options.
