RF impact on daily life?

Do you think about RF whilst not posting/browsing here? For example, you might go to work and be on your lunch break and think.."Hmm, TVOR made a really great post last night"...Do you spend hours in the bathtub thinking, "Now, what was the possible answer to that question Feathers asked?" Finally, do you get on the train happy because someone here made you feel special?

If you haven't had these incidents, you probably will not reply to this thread. Otherwise, if you have, share them!

My spirits have lifted!

I'll admit, I do sometimes think about RF while I'm at work, but it's generally not the warm fuzzy stuff I think of. Many a time, I've read a thread before going to work, but not had time to post a reply - then spent the whole of my shift working out what I'm going to say when I get home (read: ranting in my head). More often that not, I've forgotten by the time I get home, and my rant becomes a more moderate post.

I sometimes compose posts in my dreams and less frequently, get up to post it. I get ideas for threads while reading and watching TV. And I will mull over an issue while I'm driving.

It's usually the fellow members that I wind up thinking about during the rest of the day. "I hope so-and-so is doing okay," and the like. My mom (who frequents the place as powerfulwolfwoman, but has yet to post) has learned most of the other posters by my conversations about conversations here.

When I was younger going to religious classes the idea was always impressed in me that church was not a place, that church was the people. Well, it seems that I go to church everyday now and I spend a great deal of time there.

What a perfect way of phrasing it! This is my place of worshipping in a community!

I keep a lot of members on here in my thoughts and prayers whilst I am going about my daily life....:)

I am always integrating stuff I learn her into my converstations. Sometimes I share hilarious posts with my friends. I had two of them laughing so hard when I told them about the Chaney=God Rumsfield=Holy Spirit and Bush was the prophet one. I have a thirty mile one day trip to school every day, so my mind often wonders back to the board then also.

I agree that this is like a church. It's so great to have people to toss ideas around with. The forum is part of my being and I carry it with me at all times. Everyone here is a part of me. When I am away I am here.

I spend way too much time away from the board thinking about new things to talk about.
Want to trade places then;):tsk:

Anyways, it does have an impact on me in many ways. Because I have spent a lot of time here, it has come out in my dreams as you can tell by my dream rants.

Time spent away from RF I often wonder who's posting what and I have to admit I think fondly of all of you. You all have made me feel so welcomed here and I'm grateful to have all of you to chat issues with. I like learning about other religions and also like seeing views that differ from my own and why they differ. Thanks again all of you for making me feel so welcome and I hope I never do anything to tick someone off accidentially...I don't word things right sometimes and can be taken all wrong. I enjoy the time spent here...thanks all of you!

The impact RF is that, it helped me to change to atheism and I consisently think about the people that posted in my day. Thanks Rex for building this forum. Thanks everyone who's atheist or not. You are special in my heart....

I think about RF sometimes because i'm wondering what great threads are being started and if i'll be able to post in time before the topic becomes exhausted.

I never used to think much about Rf, bu now I am doing more so. I also didn't think talking about religion was so much fun. I learn stuff here sometimes even, and when I go absent form the board I think about certain posts that make me think, "well, maybe that dude was right."
