I argue that any assassin is mentally troubled. Apart from McKinley and Lincoln which were political conspiracies, all others in the 20th century were very troubled killers. There are loads of conspiracy theories out there that I'm sure you read all about. Thus far I had not seen any evidence that the murder of RFK was anything other than a lone nutjob. It's not been anything I have looked into in depth, but I;m sure any actual evidence would be widely reported in reputable media.

Nobody has succeeded in showing how Sirhan knew RFK would go through the pantry area of that LA hotel.
It's chronologically impossible. Sirhan was already there, waiting for him and hiding behind the ice machine.
So it was not a "lone nutjob" for sure. RFK was betrayed by his own staff.
Yes. I can't see how any mass murderer is operating with any degree of mental stability. Any assassin or mass shooter is facing being killed, or life in prison. That's not exactly any goal that high school guidance councelors would advise.
