"Rudy Giuliani must give control of...

luxury items and Manhattan apartment to Georgia election workers he defamed, judge rules"

Ahhh, the feel good story of the day.

CNN —
"A federal judge on Tuesday ordered former Donald Trump attorney and New York mayor Rudy Giuliani to turn over all his valuable possessions and his Manhattan penthouse apartment to the control of Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, the Georgia election workers he defamed and to whom he now owes $150 million.

Judge Lewis Liman of the federal court in Manhattan said Giuliani must turn over his interest in the property to the women in seven days, to a receivership they will control. The judge’s turnover order of the luxury items is swift and simple, but the penthouse apartment will have its control transferred so Freeman and Moss can sell it, potentially for millions of dollars.

The women, who counted Georgia ballots after the 2020 election, will also be entitled to about $2 million in legal fees Giuliani has said the Trump campaign still owes him, the judge ruled.

Liman hasn’t yet decided if Giuliani will be able to keep a Palm Beach, Florida, condominium he also owns, or the four New York Yankees World Series rings he has, which Giuliani’s son contends his father gave him."

Perhaps. I think that deep down @Twilight Hue is a good person. But I am often perplexed by his posts. I mean, the facts in this case are so very obvious.
I think he feels abused by society and Trump plays to this so he supports his minions as also being abused but he also needs to feels superior and so Trump also offers him simple choices to agree with there as well. He gets fraternity and the feeling of being on the attacking side.

Well good for them, but I think they are going to have to fumigate that apartment before they move in.

It probably smells like corrupt old man farts.

It really isn't that harsh when one considers that
Giuliani did great harm exceeding his net worth.
If anything, he's getting off easily because they've
no way to collect all that he owes. Essentially, he
has that portion of his debt excused.
Also, the $2,000,000 that Trump owes him will
likely never be paid to the victims.

A good rule of thumb for life....
Never cause more damage than you can pay for.

Do you believe that Giuliani is above the
law regarding suits for defamation?
Giuliani is a man who has fought and defeated the criminals.

I would suggest you to focus on Detroit who has given sanctuary to too many mobsters...instead of executing them. :)
