Rush Limbaugh has advanced lung cancer

That's quite an over extension.
I thought you micro-Chinkette's sharper than that.
Tom

We are sharp enough to notice you do not know
how to use an apostrophe.

You did figure out that my reference to getting ate
had to do with how hillary would not be that great
an ally?

In my days as an American, I'd mostly hear NPR,
and couldnt but notice how they always tell you it is
"trusted news".
Rather like Fox.
But in my experience, NPR's bias is more about what doesn't make it to air. That's different from saying things that are demonstrably false, or giving air time to people who do.

And I notice that you aren't sharp enough to capitalize or distinguish between "ate" and "eaten".

And yeah, you're still seriously over extending.

Perhaps, Im not student enough to know the comparison.

But- Lying by omission is devious, not a bit more honest
than by commission.

As for lies by rush or fox, those I am not aware of.

I certainly heard shallow trite reporting on NPR.
For all their self promotion about in depth etc.

Giving air-? That brings up matters of censorship,
perhaps, and of course, pretty much eliminates any
politician from the air.

It seems from posts here on RF that much of the hatred for
Limbaugh is that he's wealthy. Wealthy and being of the
wrong tribe...that will earn enmity & imprecatory prayer.

I've had one poster (on staff) wish me a painful death.
Liberals....too many are OK with this. Disagreement
shouldn't inspire such venom.
I think the enmity is more about Limbaughs messages and means of delivering it rather than his wealth. I think that is selling others a bit short. He has a lot of money and many an ailment has been cured by cash. It can hardly be said that the poor have the same access to the same health care as the wealthy. Pointing out that fact does not seem to be hatred of wealth, but acknowledging a fact.

It is also hardly one sided. George Soros has a lot of money and there are many on this forum that don't view him highly. Are their feelings a hatred of wealth? Many conservatives have nothing but venom and vitriol for him.

Addicts may, but cruel vile people that promote hatred of so many aren't gonna get it. Hes an addict
But hes also a despicable human being
And he's also ill and terminal, and to my knowledge hasn't killed anyone, isn't a thief, and isn't a rapist.

Nice way of putting it, but maybe it is more like
the female version of short-man syndrome.
Perhaps. I only know you through this forum. In the very unlikely possibility we encountered each other in real life, perhaps I would not be as impressed. Then again, I might be even more impressed. You have a strong personality that I think is going to be tall no matter how tall you really are.

I strongly suspect that those who hate his messages don't listen to him.
They listen to his opposition reporting on him...with some agenda mixed in.
(This was what I saw a couple decades ago, when I could hear him.)
It's easy to hate someone who is known only thru others who hate him.

I used to listen to him almost daily for several years, when he was on the radio. I don't know the reports you refer to or what they might say, but I found him to be full of s**t.

He was a mix of things....interesting, dumkopfish, funny, offensive.
He had a penchant for distorting science that I never found amusing when I heard it quoted to me as fact by loyal listeners. I recall a comparison of the spotted owl to cliff swallows. The owls would somehow magically become migratory like the swallows if the obligate relationship between the owls and old growth forest were severed. I guess a person could consider distorted views that have real impact as entertainment, but I never could.

A polarizing figure like him can cause some to focus either upon
what they dislike or what they like. And some can see both.

I suppose if Bill Maher is struck terminally ill we can discuss his merits and flaws as well. He only has 100 million to draw on, but that is still better than 90% of us and surely sufficient for access to the best medical care.

Surely many focus on him for what they like and dislike, as well as those that are able to see more.

Alas, I can't think of anything positive about Bill.
What little I've seen was annoying. I saw no more.
So if he comes to death's door, I won't have much to say.
But I don't wish him ill.

I suppose we could discuss the enmity liberals express for him over their hatred of his money. They can a venomous lot. Poor Bill hasn't got a chance.
