I am a socialist.
In the West I only see governors bowing to the banking élites instead of putting them in their place.
Only Russia is trying to counter them...
It has nothing to do with culture. It has to do with macroeconomics.
Then support socialism and not some horrible illiberal warmongerer

You do realise that Putin is a billionaire?????? And that Russia is an oligarchy?????

Supporting socialism is completely different to supporting Putinism

You might want to check this out:

You are a Putin apologist not a socialist
In Russia the LGBTs are numerous and very acactive.
It is illegal to "promote" homosexuality there and homophobia is rife

Socialist in the sense that you defend Mussolini and champion the right-wing nationalists while criticizing opposing internationalism and actual worker politics.
Socialist in the sense that I consider the International Banking System the perpetrators of the biggest heist in history: they have stolen the Seigniorage from the governments. :)

The traitors are those who are bowing to the banking élites, so I wouldn't bring up the High Treason topic, if I were you. ;)

The fake Italians, because they are really Russian as that is the true, real and only European culture, are the worst as over 80% of them back Mother Russia, but they haven't overthrown the evil people in what is the fake goverment, so they are cowards and tratiors to Mother Russia and deserve nothing but death. They should rise in revolution and fight for Mother Russia and you should start as the first one. ;)

Yet you support a world leader who is estimated to be worth around 200 billion dollars and who runs his nation as an oligarchy

Most normal Russians are impoverished by Western standards

Being socialist involves being against capitalism but you seem to be cool with it

Instead you seem to believe in some shadowy international elite

That has nothing to do with class struggle

That is not socialism

You are not on the side of the workers

It reminds me of the rhetoric of the 1930s

The fake Italians are the real tratiors and cowards. They should have been actively fighting for Mother Russia since 2014. ;)

Thanks to the Democratic Party.

Because Russia used to be in the Council of Europe and in the G8.
But during the Sultanate, Russia was ostracized by the West, and now she becomes allied with the Communists.

Do you mean the U.S. Democratic Party? If so, then I'd have to say that's only partially true, although I would admit that the decisions to divide Korea and send U.S. forces to war in that country were both made by Democrats. However, the Republicans continued with that status quo, and even beyond that, they advocated for even a harder line against the Communists, while painting the Democrats as weak and wimpy to the point of calling them treasonous ("pinkos"). There were even internal disputes within the Democratic Party, such as during the Vietnam War era. Some Democrats wanted peace, while others wanted war. It appears that the peaceniks are all gone, and all we have left now are the warmongers. More is the pity.

It's not that much of a surprise that they would ally with North Korea. They've been allies before. The tragic irony of all of this is that, if we had taken a different approach with Russia 25-30 years ago, we could have had friendlier ties, and Russia could have been helpful in bringing in countries like North Korea and Iran into a more reasonable and stable fold. I think that could have been possible, if we really tried. Unfortunately, our leaders chose a different path and focused their attentions on the Middle East, such as Iraq and Afghanistan, while continuing to isolate Iran.

And of course, we still maintained an active military presence in over 80 countries. While it seems to come as a great shock to many Americans, there are more than a few people around the world who aren't too fond of what our government and military do around the world. And even within America, there are those who think we're going too far and that we're overextended enough as it is. If alliances are being formed against us, then we have to consider our own position and certain policy changes which might be needed to protect our territory and national interests. We have to look at geopolitics and foreign policy more pragmatically.

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
TRUE STORY TIME!

In the early 1990s, maybe even 1990 or 1991, my military ex husband (now) and I went across the Fulda Gap to see where Luther hung the 95 theses, and we decided to go see Bergen Belsen too. We had to ask for directions and were told to go up a certain road and then turn left and we'd be there. So we did that but we turned left too soon apparently. I mean, we turned at what LOOKED like a 1940s concentration camp, but it was a present day Soviet military installation! All I could think about was "We've been deathly afraid of THIS?" It honestly looked like a 1940s concentration camp, complete with guard houses and barb wire! It was crazy!

That money belongs to the Russian State.
The elitist cabal of warmongers overseas wants to steal it from Russia.
That's why they spread the falsehood it's owned by Putin.
Putin is rich, of course.
But the wealthiest man in the world is Elon Musk. Not Putin.
Most normal Russians are impoverished by Western standards.
They are content with less.

No. Being socialist means to bridle capitalism, that is, by regulating it.
Instead you seem to believe in some shadowy international elite
It does exist.
By the by, when this happened I threw a party.

So Putin is now the Russian state!

Look it up

It is his personal fortune

He is good friends with other billionaires whose riches come from plundering state assets after the fall of the USSR
They are content with less.
"Let them eat cake!"

"The rich man in his castle the poor man at his gate"

that's really cold
warmongers
I'd forgotten that Ukraine has launched a war of aggression against Russia......

Yes, whilst disapproving of it
It does exist.

I think your motivation for disliking Rothschild is not due to you being a socialist, you are not a socialist you have simply taken a dislike towards one small group of very rich people

You see capitalist society as being about wicked individuals rather than class struggle, which is how socialists see things

You are not on the side of the people, you defend one elite whom you love against another elite whom you hate

I wouldn't call you a socialist
