Was Harris a sacrificial lamb, did the big party bosses look really look at the state of the country and admit to themselves there was no way anyone would beat Trump. Therefore insure that Harris would be their canididate and not sacrifice one their stars to total humillation. Did they (Obama maybe) tell Josh Stein not to accept the VP spot because it would harm him by assoicating himself with Harris?
I know, I know conspiracy theories are a dime a dozen, but I have heard a couple of well known Democrats say they saw no way any democrat could win the presidintial election due to the totally flawed policies of the Biden administration. But think about it, why did they not convinice (or threaten) Biden to say he was not running for a second term and be able to have a primary.

It has to do with the arrogance of the DNC, the corrupt Liberal media complex and the Hollywood fantasy complex. Since 2016, they have been able to lie about Trump and spin disinformation, with celebrity support, in favor of the DNC. How many bought into the Russian Collusion Coup and thought Trump was the enemy of the state? In the Harris-Trump election, 90% of the main stream media gave over 90% favorable coverage to Harris, while giving nearly Trump nearly 100% unfavorable. It was not objective or impartial. it was never news, just propaganda. The only favorable coverage Trump got was based on him making the main news cycle; assassination. But even that many in the fake news would try to minimize.
In the past, this bully barrage was enough to put their opponent in a hole and carry their anointed one to the finish line; Diminished Biden. They assumed Harris could be anyone; just a placeholder, and they, combined, with all the money the DNC would raise from their rich Silicon Valley and Wall Street donors; double the RNC, would allow them to dominate advertising/campaign adds, and thereby wear down the voter, until the majority submitted. Election Day was a shocker, since they were all exposed for what they were/are. Many are still in denial while others are trying to be objective of Trump's historic total win; David and Goliath.
They underestimated Trump, who created iconic moments and images, worth a fortune, that cost him nothing. The media had lost its magic as more and more men, from a diversity of demographics, began to wake up, and look at the data from Biden-Harris 2020 and compare to Trump 2016. Trump was genuine, skilled and understood the plight of the working class.
The point made by the overwhelming victory by Trump is fake news is going to have to retool, since that boy who cried wolf; disinformation, too many times, is now being ignored by the majority; loss of audience and credibility. While the DNC base is still not aware they were sold swamp land based on the media barrage trying to carry Harris over the finish line.
Harris was like their chosen star; casting couch, who by herself, although talented, would rise higher to the stars, when supported by writers, directors, producers, cameramen, advertising, etc. The star appears self standing and even bigger than life; made for TV. Emotional thinkers were and are still most vulnerable. If you stick to the facts, and not be sucked in by the entertainment boost and the disinformation, it is easier to stay immune.
