God came from the mind that your words came from. Just because you are creative and imaginative doesn't mean you can think of the square root of 28221.667. There is laws to physics in the real world, not a fanatical society.

Take for example the all powerful Church of medieval era...

They controlled who knew how to read and write, because they knew that if a heretic published his opinions and concepts that there would be people who would agree. And when large groups of people agree they do something about it, like the foundation of America.

If you weren't faithful to the Church you were executed and or tortured. They struck fear into the people.

I pronounce myself in a way that you think you understand, but you are highly misunderstanding it. Everyone is self seeking, and self serving for everything that someone does, they do for themselves. Even if it is a selfless act, it still gives gratifacation to the one doing it, if he or she wanted want to do it, otherwise they wouldn't of done it. Everything that one seeks is for ones own pleasure and benefits, even if it is not obvious to some. Everyone does something for them, even if it is for others, the feeling you get inside is still gratifying.
