Ask And You Will Receive
I have no gods other than me.
I know you consider yourself a god.
When all of the other gods
have come together,
the LORD God judges them
Psalm 82:1

I have no gods other than me.
And here you keep quoting a book I believe is better suited for use as tissue paper.I know you consider yourself a god.
When all of the other gods
have come together,
the LORD God judges them

If you want the US to be a Christian country, then that's your position. I don't agree with it, but I can understand it.
It's confusing to me when people argue for 'religious liberty', but also Christian primacy. Those positions don't sit comfortably.
It's very Catholic, and voted the best state to live in.The community has EVERY RIGHT to establish community standards.
Honestly, I am surprised a place like Boston, Leftist utopia, would not concede for all the arguments you make.
Like I said, we see what the actual agenda is here. Thank you for being honest. You're free to pray however you want, provided it's on your own or with like-minded people participating of their own free will.
The issue only arises when you try to impose prayer on others against their will.
Right: the actual agenda is religious freedom and religious equality.Like I said, we see what the actual agenda is here. Thank you for being honest.
You are trying to shut down the time honored tradition of things like opening congress with a prayer. If the prayer is not denominational, i.e. not explicitly Christian, it does not violate constitutional prohibitions.Right: the actual agenda is religious freedom and religious equality.
I don't understand why you keep on reacting as if this is scandalous. Do you think there's something wrong with either of these things?
That's right. It's a negative, oppressive tradition. You are trying to shut down the time honored tradition of things like opening congress with a prayer.
The Supreme Court disagrees with you. Google the Lemon Test if you aren't familiar with it.If the prayer is not denominational, i.e. not explicitly Christian, it does not violate constitutional prohibitions.
There's many time honored traditions we've stopped doing, for reasons such as they are things that are improper and immoral to do, they are things that just do not work like we once thought, or realizing they are things better kept private. And we really have learned religion works better in private, because in the public it has long caused needless conflict. It especially gets ugly and nasty for everyone when it mingles with the state. Again, this is needlessly. You are trying to shut down the time honored tradition of things like opening congress with a prayer.
Women not being allowed to vote didn't violate the Constitution at one point in time. And the requirement is it doesn't have to be non-denominational, it has to be all or none. And it's exceptionally and significantly easier to just go with the none. No one's superstitions or dogma or mythology get promoted over another, no one gets left out or excluded, and like everybody else they can just show up and get to work.If the prayer is not denominational, i.e. not explicitly Christian, it does not violate constitutional prohibitions.
Name one based on Yahweh that is a utopia.Name one society based on the principles of Satanism in all of human history.
Name one based on Yahweh that is a utopia.
I'm sick of seeing people make the stupid claim that democracies and republics are somehow at odds with each other. Do you know what either of those two things are? It doesn't seem so!Fortunately, America is NOT and never was a Democracy. See Article IV, Section 4 of US Constitution.
Yes. The satanists.they all know who the true Christians are.
I bet that they invite white supremacists a lot.Melodramatic hyperbole.
Christmas was illegal for ages in the US as it was considered pagan. His birth is honored at the Founding
I consider nationalism idolatry and a sin.The Left hates the idea of American exceptionalism and even distort what it means
Maybe during the articles of confederation, but confederacies don’t work, so we changed to the stronger constitution.Simply put, the exception is that America's government was founded on the principle of limited government. America is the only country in the history of the world based/founded on individual rights and limited government. This idea can be and should be frequently traced back to its source.
But the monks got the years wrong, so you really don’t.In the Year of Our Lord, February 1, 2021
The spirit of the 1% who wanted Britain to protect them from Natives they persecuted and didn’t want to pay for the service. That is, I believe it is important for everyone in this country - and the world - to keep in mind the Founding principles of America, aka the Spirit of '76.
We’re more like a bug zapper.America is supposed to be a shining beacon to the rest of the world?
Oh I hate to be the bearer of bad news guys.
