Satan's Prison

You're trying to figure it out all on your own. Admirable but there are resources that can help you make sense of it all. I really think you should read the Urantia Book.

And then, when you're ready, tackle the Wingmakers material.

Thanks for the references, I'll look them up.

Trying to figure it out on his own? Wait a second, back up. What supports or even makes you think that any of this is true at all in any way? Is it just something you thought up, or is there reason behind you thinking that this is actually what happened?

Lucifer is not Satan, but merely a symbolic representation of the white man.
Satan is a spiritual demon and the Most High's chief angel on the left hand side to think he is in any way the Most Highs adversary is crazy. The alpha and omega cannot be opposed he does all things (1SAM2:6,AMOS3:6).

I am always looking for new information.

What I posted about Satan is not fiction, it's based on dreams. The problem with dreams is most people reply with, well, everyone dreams, why take it seriously, or, so what, what makes your dreams any different than mine, etc.

If I lived during Old Testament times people may have taken me seriously. If however they thought I was a phony, they would kill me. Things haven't changed, except people aren't killed for dreaming about God and the Bible. I believe it's all true, but I have no Bible references, so you have to take my word for it. If you don't believe me, it doesn't matter, we all end up the same.

I put it together based on several dreams. Having thought about it a lot, it all fits. God disposed of Satan to eliminate a growing problem in heaven. Satan was one of twenty-five angels. Then, there were twenty-four angels. Take two, from the duality of God, and divide into 24, you get 12. Then, divide two into almost everything in nature and you get some unique things, two wings on birds, two eyes, two ears, two legs, two of almost everything for creatures, then in science we have polarities, gravity, positive and negative, neutrons and electrons, matter and anti-matter, etc. Duality is everywhere, it represents God's nature.

So your reasoning is you had dreams that much less educated man would have possibly taken seriously? The numerous problems with that aside, how in the world does it all fit? Can you point to anything that exists in the reality outside our minds that even suggests anything of the sort is true?

Only issue here is the first claim. Lucifer simply means "light-bearer" and was a title given to the planet Venus, misused in the KJV of Isaiah.

Having been independent since I was a teenager, I understand more than most people about the real world. My dreams have nothing to do with education, they are very basic. I can't speak for others, so I'll not speculate about their minds. For me, my dreams fit perfectly well with reality, they address the most important questions about humankind: why are we here, were did the universe come from, who or what is God, who and what are angels, who is Satan, why did God create the universe, what does the Bible have to do with God, and who was Jesus Christ?

Based on what I know there is no salvation; therefore, for a new religion, my ideas are dead on arrival.

As for the Bible, I believe the Lord of the Old Testament is God.

Concerning paradise, it occurred during the dinosaur era about 65 million years ago. Scientist agree dinosaurs all disappeared (from a comet or asteroid hitting earth) along with nearly 90% of all other species. That was when Satan came into paradise and turned God's creations against Him. Subsequently, homo sapiens evolved to become the dominant species. Contrary to Christians beliefs, God does not love and adore humans. As a matter of fact, God regrets what has happened to his planet as a consequence of human domination.

The very fact that you think Satan is a specific entity shows that you do not believe in the mythology, stories, and properties of the Hebrew God and scriptures.

That is correct, I believe Satan is real. Biblical accounts of Satan are very nonspecific, and Judaism seems to discount Satan as real, whereas evil is a consequence of actions, rather than an external being.

Evil is tied to God just as good is. Is God the All or not? If not, it is not a God worth following IMO.

I disagree, Satan is the author of evil, therefore evil is not related to God. Unless, of course, you want to make that old tired argument that God is also evil because God created an evil being.

Following God is a matter of choice.

Go back to my thread about what happened to Satan. Satan was the first angel to rebel, thus Satan is the author of evil, and a role model for opposing God.

Whether or not God is worth following is a matter of individual choice. Certainly, simple ideas about love and worshiping God may conflict with worldly goals of success, power, and opportunities for self-fulfillment.

So you believe in a God who did not create all, cannot control all, can't exist above our perceptions of good and evil... I've lost interest. Sounds like a pretty boring God.

God is eternal, God created all the angels, and after that God created the universe as a prison for Satan. On earth God created paradise. Then, God intervened in human affairs after humans began to took control of all other species. From a human perspective that may be boring.

Yes, God is boring. God doesn't promote human endeavors such as unique emotional and physical experiences. There are enumerable things about living that are exciting. If you don't like the Bible, there is much to do and explore, such as science fiction.

What is exciting about God is duality. For angels, that's a unending pleasure, watching both Gods interact with them. But that is not part of our world.

There is a downside to being human, it's living a short-time compared to living forever with God.

It's obvious we have a fundamental disagreement. However, it has been fun posting with you. :)
