There is a link to another story at the bottom of the page.

"Saudis would cut oil prices to $80 to protect market share"

Using the info I calculated that Saudi Arabia is currently selling about 3.5 trillion dollars worth each year. That is just them, then there is Qatar, Iran, etc. So why are so many Muslims poor and desperate and violent?

Though this Saudi act of prisoning him, his brother and followers with no reason is oppression, portraying such things as sectarian divisions is also a greater oppression to the causes of the nations. The reason he is put behind bars is not because he is a shia Ayatullah. It is because he speaks against the ruling family in his country.

The hypocrisy of the USA claiming to want democracy in the Middle East while supporting the Saudi monarchy is nauseating. It is hard to imagine how Bush said that with a straight face.

I don't see how any of our Presidents could say much of anything in regards to foreign policy with a straight face for about a century or so.

I would think it becomes easy after a while if you do it enough times.
