Saudi Arabia is ticking me off...

A Bosnian pilot was killed in a plane crash near Medina, in Saudi Arabia, today and for some reason the Saudi Arabian government won't confirm the pilots identity.

They've released two separate, male names but Bosnian authorities say they believe the pilot was actually female and that's why it's taking so long. They're waiting for confirmation from Crveni Polumjesec (Red Crescent, in Bosnian).

Why would they be reluctant to release the name of a female pilot?

I hope this isn't as inane a question as it probably sounds...

So what if the pilot was a female and she died?

I don't understand what do u mean in here Mila. I see no reason for hiding such thing by Saudi Arabia unless you know somthing which i don't.

So the story goes, up until recently it was not legal for a woman in Saudi Arabia to drive a car, let alone an aeroplane. I do not know if this rule against female drivers is still in force, if it ever was. Apparently Christmas trees are also illegal, but are available on the "black market" at the appropriate time of year.
