I live well below my means. A key personal finance principle I think everyone should follow. I don't place much value in material possessions. There have been times when I had very little. Now I have all I need and can indulge whenever I choose. Yet I could lose all my material possessions and I could cope with that. I have enough savings that I could live the rest of my life at ease and have multiple streams of income for the remainder of my life. I have zero debt. I pay cash for the things I buy. I have the economic freedom to be able to help others less blessed than I. Which I try to do more all the time.
