a few interesting articles:

Enjoy ;)
Who needs to be under the influence? I've seen this site before and it's uproariously funny.

It's good to know the limitations of stuff like Wiki. :) Pretty much the same as anything else on the Internet.

What I know about Scientology I learned from watching South Park. And honestly, I was laughing harder about Tom Cruise being in the closet.:biglaugh:

I bought the scientology book (big book), and i went to a few sessions there. I stepped back when i saw they were going to get me into some kind of system, where i had my place, and eveyone else had theirs.

I wont judge their system, it did get some people to heal uncurable ailments, since they use a good system to break the psychosomatic link on an illeness. But i find their faith to be a bit too much capitalist. My opinion: good therapy system, canned in a money bucket. But my opinion only.

Mike, I hope you don't consider anything I've written about Scientology to be disrespectful. The origin of Scientology that I mentioned earlier is strictly factual, and no more disrespectful afaik than mentioning the origin of Judaism is some event that happened thousands of years ago on Mt. Sinai.

Exactly. If you were to bring in someone who has never experienced religion and you were to introduce them to the origins of my religion, they would probably say "your joking right." Even the origins of Christianity looks kinda far fetched from that perspective.

A religions origins should not detract from its central message, which from Scientology's stand point seems to be self improvement.
