I know he's very sensitive to others and get's weepy when he watches some shows that touch your heart...he is a real sweetheart though. I imagine if I'd have heard that I would have shuddered a bit myself at just the thought of it.:)
If you'd like, I can email you some guided meditations (not of any religion, just in general) that might help him. I have had a lot of trouble in the past with taking on others' feelings as my own, and would love to help, if you think that might be of any use.

<<Feathers>> That is SO sweet...I'm sure I'd enjoy them but he wouldn't really care one way or the other...he really isn't into the meditation deal...he works way too many hours and when he's home he has lots he feels he must accomplish before going back to work...he neglects himself frequently. If you'd still like to send them I'd be grateful for them...Thanks...:)

It would have freaked me out completely. I couldn't sleep right for a week after seeing The Excorcist.

LOL...I was instructed at the time it came out by our minister not to go see it...as was the whole congregation...He said at that time it was like trying to invite satin into your soul...that this was one of satins ways through these sorts of movies to get his foot in the door to your life...I didn't see that movie untill YEARS later when it came on tv...It didn't make much of an impact on my life, thankfully, but I could understand that minister's point after I'd seen it. Some people really take things in too much and it can have a huge impact on their lives...like crystal balls, and those old 8 ball things we used to play with as kids...There IS that chance when you get into these sorts of things that you are flirting with some sort of evil...but as most things it really has to do with the individual themselves...weak minds can be taken over by bad things. I thought the exorcist was freaky and it did make me think a little about what forces might be out there and the risks we take in some of the decissions we make.

I can fully understand why it freaked you out though.:)

Crystal Balls and stuff like that are in no way evil. They are just scary for some people because they are not normal. People are afraid of what they don't understand. And for christians throughout history, those things have been called evil. I don't think there have been any real exorcisms since medieval europe. Now we pretty much know it can be chalked up to mental illness. Trust me, I deal with spirits everyday, there are no "good and evil" spirits like the christian church wants you to believe.

I'm afraid I must disagree with you about the evil spirits exsisting and good spirits exsisting...but that's ok we are both intitled to our opinions. Thanks for your reply though.:)

Wow, I really like that. Altho I'm not sure whether it gives me more hope or less hope for humanity.

And I'm afraid I must disagree with both of you on spirits existing at all. ;)

It's impossible for me to elaborate in words over the internet. It would sound like rubbish. Things like this can only be witnessed and understood with experience.

Good and evil are only perceptions. Not objective realities. No spirit is good or evil on its own. It only "is." It is the human mind that creates the ideas of good and evil.
