Sean Spicer lies about size of inauguration crowd.

yawn <ignore> yawn
NEAT picture!
Thanks.
That is a lot of evidence.
b b but how does that signify a number?
I'm not about to count all those people
There are no official counts, so no hard data. But there is a ton of indirect methods of estimating. If they all line up one can draw conclusions from them, and they do. Obama drew more attendees to his first inauguration than the combined attendees of Bush 2005 and Trump 2017. There are reasons for that, such as DC has a huge black population and Obama was the first black president. But it doesn't mean that Spicer was telling the truth.
And that is the point to this thread.

Exactly, it is as if people have already forgotten the huge popular wave that carried Obama to the Oval office. Comparing his turnout to Trump's is somewhat silly. It's like comparing the turnout to a Lagy Gaga concert to that of some unpopular Indy band.
It's not silly at all....the size of an inaugural crowd is dead serious.
(The fighting is never so vicious as when the stakes are so low.)
Without any real presidential record to attack, only these trivial
details must become fodder. Bias must be confirmed!

Libs have more to proove, hence parades for pride etc...

Perhaps I've missed it, but does anyone actually care about the size of the crowds other than because of the ridiculous attempts to repeatedly lie about them even though they don't matter at all?

With the President and his team spending part of their first day in office telling petty and obvious lies, it's not surprising that some people might find this worthy of comment/ridicule.

Yes only the big whopper lies of the past 8 years are commendable.

Looks like a tiny crowd.

Trump's crowd even looks small compared to the turnout of the Rally to Restore Sanitiy and/or Fear.

Although myself, I was up in the small sectioned off area close to the stage. Obama's turnout was massive. But, I suppose, tiny crowds for tiny hands.

"Learn your lesson and stop doing 'fake news', but if you are right and I am the one doing 'fake news' then it doesn't matter because I think independently of course. Only your lies are important and a sign of your flawed nature".

The wonderful world of cognitive dissonance :D
I was reading on the BBC today that some nitwit from Trump's "King's Court" was attacking someone who called out Spicer, and said he was using "alternative facts."o_O
People can say to wait and see what happens, but the present course we are on very often does not end well. And it's not just Trump and his court, but the very fact that Colbert began using "Truthiness" several years ago and this concept now has enough support that this dogma of Truthiness is now leading the nation. Anything they don't want to believe, they reject, damn the evidence, and proclaim what they believe to be fact. And when it's leading a state, we have mountains of history that show this turning to a deadly merger of church and state, Stalinism, Maoism, Nazis, Fascists, add in glamorous post-death rewards and you get suicidal bombers, and while the King and His Court play a fool the people suffer and rights are eroded.
Not that will necessarily happen, but rejection of believe and acceptance of fact is why we remember Gallileo.

Even on that I can still see tons of white, and it doesn't look much bigger. A part of "Trump's side" is filled in with the CNN picture, but "Obama's side" is still thin. But, nevertheless, it unquestionable who had the larger turnout, as the rear-most part of Trump's inauguration was mostly empty, the part next to that roughly a quarter empty, and a curios mostly open spot in the middle.
Regardless, it's not a big deal. Only someone who is pathetic narcissist would have to have "the biggest ever, period."

The gigapixel version clearly and undeniably confirms the above picture accurately reflects the crowd when Trump was speaking (it is a bit bigger than the one in your image, but not a great deal.)

The angle of the gigapixel version obscures the large empty area at the back, but if you zoom in and count the number of sections in use then you can tell that the above picture is accurate in terms of number of sections in use and how full they are.

CNN probably photoshopped it before uploading though as 100% of their stories are liberal propaganda 'fake news' :D

What is pathetic, is Trump is so self-centered and deluded that the number he gives himself is still smaller than Obama's.
Tiny crowds for tiny hands.

It's what he does with his hands that count, and he's done a lot more good already in a few days than 0bama has in 8 years, IMO.
Ya, but most people who watch RW media say the same thing. Careful, RW media intentionally makes you hate people on purpose.
