Just in time, too. Don't expect any further progress toward equal rights for LGBT people when all those new Republicans move in in January. Shame they didn't sort out the marriage issue while they were at it.

Next step is to lift the ban on co-ed showering. After all, the military is one uni-style. Green.

I would bet that those expecting high drama now that DADT is overturned are going to be pretty bored.

About time.
All previous experience with openly introducing gays into the military has turned out to be a non-event, i.e. apart from gays openly serving nothing much happened, and I fully expect this to be as well.

Now on to the other non-event; gay marriage. :)

I'm not even sure why some people get so worked up in their opposition when it comes to issues like this.
