I mean this with all seriousness,
I was born deformed, so growing up wasn't the best as I was picked on and everything else. I was told just to accept faith and my special purpose in this world and that my deformed head was due to sin, but if we are all from sin, wouldn't we all be deformed?. Also if we are all loved by god and all have an equal shot at heaven, does that mean those who were put through more will receive a special rank?. I mean why put one through more than another?. Sure "the beautiful prom queen" had her fair share of problems, but she also had great opportunites than say the "deformed person" who settled and picked the best of what was left. So were those equal tests?, I mean the "prom queen" might wish she didn't have to deal with all the up keep to keep her status, but by no means would she wish she was that "deformed person" who was alone, while the "deformed person" would be the "prom queen" in an instant, should the one who was put through more have the same rank as the "prom queen"?.

Rank means nothing if you don't try to improve yourself upon testing.

Everyone has their own ways of testing themselves and others, whats beneficial and practical to yourself and others is what may lead you to a rank or sense of up keeping of your desire.

If you put yourself on a pedestal, that pedestal better be stable, you better be stable. There is much hard work, self evaluation, cleansing required to remain in tact and for the world to see.

If you continually knock yourself down you have to find out...why? Why do I keep ending up on the floor? Is this good for me?

If you enter a room, and someone hits you from behind, boom your on the ground, someone turned to the lights off. Go back to your corner and find out why that happened, what your opponent did to make that happen and what you can do to prevent it from happening again.

It all depends, whats worth it? How much work do you want to put into yourself, others, and how much work are you willing to do to maintain this?

Ranks, titles, these things aren't a given. Gaining experience in one area does not constitute gaining experience in another, although the experience is capable of being carried over to help you learn and achieve faster, its not the same. And you also have to think, how good would a title make you feel if you haven't earned it, if someone just said "here you go, see you again next time!"? We all go through a lot, every single person does, its not right to say "I've been through more" or "You don't know what I've been through", or "I've been through a lot" because every being that walks the face of this planet has been through a lot. Its not a competition, its a realization.

People tend to view their lot in life as part of some mythological or cosmological battle ground. But really, the truth of the matter is that it's simply life's circumstances. We all have to do our best with what we got, there's a limit to how much we can compare ourselves to others, at some point we have to live OUR own lives.

Do you know that sin is just imperfection? It's an archery term that means "to miss the mark". We all miss the mark to a greater or lesser degree.
Sin doesn't even itself out over the whole human race...some people are just a little more imperfect than others, is all.

Deformities do not mean that you are special or have any special purpose from God's perspective. He sees the inner person, not the outward form. In many ways, the ugly ducklings of this world are more beautiful to God than the physically attractive ones. Vanity makes attractiveness into an undesirable quality from God's standpoint. Who cares what you look like if you are a conceited cow? :p

If you have God's qualities of kindness, generosity, forgiveness, and others 'fruits' of his spirit, that will make you very attractive to your Creator and to other human beings. If you are comfortable with who you are, regardless of what you look like, others will be comfortable with you too. :)

Also if we are all loved by god and all have an equal shot at heaven, does that mean those who were put through more will receive a special rank?
The Bible does not say that we all have an equal shot at heaven. It says that a chosen "few" will rule with Christ in his kingdom. (144,000 to be exact) These "chosen ones" will be "kings and priests" in heaven with Jesus, (Rev 20:6) which would be useless if everyone went to heaven. Kings don't rule each other.

The kingdom will have subjects on earth, no longer encumbered by sin but having all imperfections removed under the rule of the kingdom. Just as easily as Jesus and his apostles healed the sick, they cured deformities as well. You don't have to go to heaven to get your body mended. Every survivor of the 'end times' will be healed of every manifestations of sin....permanently.

I mean why put one through more than another?
Sin and imperfection come in a variety of ways, shapes and forms. We don't get to choose. What we do get to choose is whether we will benefit from Jesus' ransom sacrifice, have our sins forgiven, and be welcomed into the new world of God's making spoken about in Revelation 21:2-4.
The apostle John sees "New Jerusalem" (God's Kingdom) coming down to rule "mankind" and extend the benefits of Jesus' sacrifice earth wide.

"I saw also the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

This is God's promise.

should the one who was put through more have the same rank as the "prom queen"?.
In God's new world, everyone will be equal, having had all traces of sin removed. Then the prom queen and the deformed one will be equally beautiful...not just externally, but more importantly, with an inner beauty that reflects a deep love and appreciation for all that the Creator has done to get us there.

Earth is where God placed the first humans and earth was designed especially for us as a permanent home to enjoy everything God has made. The devil stepped in a spoiled things for a while, but he did not derail God's original purpose for the earth and mankind upon it.
What Adam lost for his children, (perfect life in paradise on earth) Jesus came to get back for us.

"And just a little while longer, and the wicked one will be no more;
And you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be.
But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace."
"The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it."
(Psalm 37:10, 11, 29)

Forever is a long time to enjoy paradise conditions, in perfect health, peace and happiness. Who could ask for more than that?

Jesus also said that "the meek shall inherit the earth". (Matt 5:5)

Sin makes life unfair at present, but God promises to make everything wonderful. We can trust him to fulfill his promises. 'Just a little while longer'....

... and this is not all that much better.

It is the Christian concept of the future. (2 Pet 3:13) A new heaven and a new earth in which righteousness will prevail. Sins forgiven and God's first purpose in Eden comes to fruition. (Gen 1:28)Sickness aging and death will be no more. (Rev 21:3, 4)

What is the Jewish concept? What do Jews look forward to in the future? When will Messiah come and what will he accomplish?

Prom Queen is nothing more than a popularity contest that means bugger all in the grand scheme of society.

Now, which would you rather be: on the same rank as "Prom Queen" (i.e., one night of queenieness that goes away as soon as graduation comes), or on the same rank as Stephen Hawking?

"For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous." Rom. I think it is best if you figure which law he is referencing and obey it rather than JWizing every blooming thing.

May I ask who you think Theodore A. Jones is to be telling anyone anything but his own opinion about "every blooming thing"? What did Peter say in 1 Pet 3:15?
Are Paul's words the only ones we need to understand?

I would suggest that you might refrain from quoting the same verse in Romans 2 in just about every post and think about whatever it is you think you are achieving by displaying a very unchristian attitude to everyone who disagrees with you?

Discuss, and by all means put forth your view, but don't just sweep in and downgrade everyone else, like your view is anything but your opinion. We are all entitled to one. OK?

Prom Queen or Stephan Hawkins? Hmmm! Could I have the queens body and the brain of Hawkins? :)

One will degenerate quickly unless you spend billions. The other is likely to stay with you far longer.

If you can get the person that told you that, to come to Dallas, I will buy them a nice dinner before I make sure they never say anything like that again. I wouldn't have to lay a hand on the, but I could put them in such a position they would have to face the ignorance and ......(can't use those words here)... as Paul said SKUBALON comments they made and regret them the rest of their lives.
