Seriously "going to hell"

Basically summed up; Heaven = worshiping a God I do not think deserves any of it. Hell = taking a stand against said God.
So how is that any different than what's happening right now? You're taking a stand against God now and you'd be continuing to take a stand against God after you die? Am I understanding you correctly? If I am, what would that mean exactly? I'm just thinking that there really wouldn't be anybody around for you to influence.

God has already offered a way out from Hell; which is Jesus, but a-lot of people reject this. So I really don't have much to say....

Friend dacx,

Seriously "going to hell"
I think that many people that state they are "going to Hell" or "would much rather go to Hell than Heaven" truly don't believe in a literal Hell (myself included)

There is no place as *hell* or *heaven*.
They are all *mind* created and no two hell/heaven of two persons will be the same as each one's imaginations are different.
The only place that the mind cannot imagine /picture is *Nirvana* as that is when the mind is free of *thoughts*.
That is what is called emptiness and out of this emptiness comes both Ying/yang or all opposites and hell/heaven are just one such opposites.
The word opposite is not correct rather they are complimentary to each other and completes to make a WHOLE.

Some people (i.e. millions if not billions) lived their entire lives without even having heard of Jesus. Do you have anything to say about them? Also, what do you have to say about Gandhi? Do you think God is going to send him to Hell?

Yeah, I'd never found a satisfactory answer to those questions either, Katz.

I don't believe in a literal Hell, only in separation from G-d, which is worse than any fire and brimstone Christians can conjure up.

But I do konw a couple of people who believe in a literal Hell, where I will go. I've had a lot of conversations with friends of mine, Christians, who've argued passionately that I should accept Jesus because they want to be floating up in Heaven with me after we all die. I'd say about six people I know believe in literal Hell and that I'll go there since I've heard of Jesus and don't believe he's the son of G-d.

Imagine a criminal entered your house ...killed everybody and just escaped.
You will start to think seriously about hell and heaven.

Yes, it is taking a stand in life and in death. All it means is I get to be me, and stand against what I think is wrong. As far as influencing others, it might, but oh well if I don't.

Why not? That doesn't make sense.

Imagine a criminal entered your house ...killed everybody and just escaped.
You will start to think seriously about hell and heaven.

Which would spawn from thoughts of revenge, which is, I believe, one of the great enemies of reason and spirituality.

That Contradicts all the proofs of God, Logic and Reason.

All I can say is God would do what he wants to do for them. He knows what's best, so I can't really answer your question.
