He'd probably have a very long, mournful weep over the wickedness done in his name as surely it would make his heart feel like it was torn to shreds.
And then they'd all have some serious explaining to do.
Be the time they're done and he's punished them accordingly his millennium reign will be over.

Nah. He'd likely be ignored by most people and just preach to his choir like most supposed messiahs and prophets do.

He would be on the news for while because of His supposed miracles, which nobody would be able to prove, especially sceptics, and it would be a quaint story from brain washed idiots or liars once His followers started to say He rose from the dead.

If Christ were to return, would he tear down the nations to set himself up as the King of humankind? Would the US Constitution become a relic and the American flag replaced with a cross?

Would the world's economies be removed to provide for all humankind equally?

In the Bible God is pictured as the one who initially set up the nations and gave them their land. They have changed since then however.
I doubt that the nations will be abolished but we are not told exactly how things will be.

I'm very surprised to hear this question from you, but I'm not judging. I occasionally get Noah and Moses mixed up in a post. Because they look the same in films..and also in Sunday school portrayals.

Christ is in the church, so if Christ were to return it would mean voluntary full church membership everywhere throughout the world, perfect peace everywhere and worldwide communion. This is styled the end of death by NT writers.

If Jesus, the man, were to return it would only be after all of the above had been accomplished; and he would be the king but would immediately end the dynasty, returning the crown to the Father. God would be all and in all, no leaders anymore, such as if communism actually were accomplished and functioned properly instead of turning into a bloodbath followed by extreme despotic idolatry.

Would the US Constitution become a relic and the American flag replaced with a cross?
The constitution would cease to be needed, however it would not be forgotten. It would be museum'd. Christ would be the constitution.

Would the world's economies be removed to provide for all humankind equally?
The goals of Christ are such that it wouldn't matter very much, however if money continued to have utility it would remain. There might be a global economy.

I would bet...christ would be arrested...thrown in prison...tortured..and executed...just like in the old days...and George soros would still be king...lol...

All in my opinion: I bet that His Elect would be overjoyed and His enemies would be terrified at the Judgment and eternity impending the world. It's going to be an interesting moment. He can't die anymore.

I have a felling that "LIVE, VIA SATELLITE, SOMETHING IS COMING, IS IT AN ASTEROID, IS ANOTHER WORLD...." And nothing will stop him. :D

Curious why you're surprised! :D

My post was geared towards pointing out how the American Evangelical crowd may sort out their loyalties. I know some folks that are all about Christ coming back to reclaim America, but that strikes me as extremely narrowminded.

Or otherwise put, would he transform the world in an authoritarian theocracy and implement a form of communism?
