Set and Lucifer

This is stupid, how does Lucifer equate with Set, Lucifer in Latin means "I Bear Light" and is a Refrence to the Morning Star Venus. Lucifer is not a biblical charactor nor associated with Satan.

in Egyptian mythology Venus was known as 'god of the morning' or 'the star that crosses', which may be a reference to the fact that it is only observed around the east or west horizon. It was originally depicted with the head of a heron-type bird, later as a two headed falcon.

Thus Lucifer(morning star venus) is associated with Horus.

Set was the god of darkness, and protected the sun god Ra in the underworld.
Jesus was also called Morning star as so was david. Infact the 6 pointed star is
a morning star symbol.

So Venus was originally associated with Thoth(heron type bird) .very cool & fitting for this thread.....I thought Venus only rose in the west in the mornings,given our 26 degree axis tilt .meh,I never get my head around astrology.

I far prefer Thoth to Horus,why change do you think?

Horus symbolized the Firmanent or the horizon. Horus has two eyes, the eye of Ra, and the eye of thoth.

Last time I fought Horus I was sucked into his right eyeball,impartially & neautrally,as your own eyeball does process light.

I associate Horus (& apaep) with North Egypt,which leathered the South so as to control both the Nile Delta & south Eygypt.

Thoth is reasonable,if not admirable.

Rah is source solar energy,although opposite to spirirtual source(nice when you mix these. )

Set is master over all,working as well by day as by night,maybe even creating a never-ending dawn........Apep shall ever be defeated.

So mote it be.Thoth is so much more than an eyeball of Horus.

By the way Az,I don't like the way your beady eyed Av is giving me the 1,000 yard stare right through me, I maybe have to give it both barrels of my shotgun next time..

Has for for my new Avatar, sorry you feel is staring at you like that. Though you my be confused by who it is. It's not Hours, it's Ra himself. I also get confused by picture of then because they all must look the same.

The North rolled Ra & Thoth together & called it Whorus,reducing Lady S to a pussycat with gold rings,the destroyer of vermin(Lady Bast).& kept Anubis,elevating his role indeed.Killing Set(lulz)
