Interesting stuff. Though I was thinking in UK terms at the time I guess

I've also figured it would be really hard to prove that a specific news organisation caused any degree of harm if it was reported through a variety of media outlets.

Ah, yes, I'm talking about US laws. They are different in Australia and the UK but I don't know the specifics for those countries. Here is some general info with a breakdown by country.

People have created their own monsters from wanting to pry into everyone else's business to which the media pander to that inturn causes grief to everyone who doesn't want their lives pried into.
