The Drudge Report is “news”?
I know it became the bane of liberals after broaching the Clinton-Lewinsky
scandal, but yes...it is news. Moreover, he's one of the most powerful
journalists in the country...nay, the planet. As primarily a news aggregator,
he does indeed cover right wing sources, but you should note that he also
covers the left, regularly linking Huff Po, NYT, Wa Po, NPR, etc, etc.
(The Drudge report is how I frequently access those.)
His web page is the best in the business, which explains why it's so popular
among other journalists, both left & right (as I recall).

This explains why original sources might approach Drudge,
resulting in real news breaking there rather than elsewhere.
You cannot blithely dismiss news just cuz solely dislike the source.
Your leftish sources might not be willing to cover something which
casts a bad light on the tribe. This happened with Bill Clinton.
Btw, for things which matter, verification elsewhere is appropriate
whether one likes the news or not...or the source or not.
I now suspect that the Right Wing obsession with Hillary Clinton will never end, not even after she dies.

And if it's cromulent that Bloomberg is courting her, then this would yet
again a leftish love affair with her.
Many of my friends on the Right, and their news sources, have speculated for years now - seemingly with glee - that Hillary will make a comeback. It’s a shame that she’s served as an excuse to embrace full-fledged xenophobia and bigotry and the new food-fight political discourse that has replaced thinking.
I never expected her to reappear in contention for a leadership role.
And I still don't. Still....this headline warranted posting.
