Should a believer be afraid of asking ?

"I dunno" is not a valid answer IMO.

Why not?

If you don't know, then how is "i don't know" not a valid answer?

I am a logic freak, so if something is illogical and does not find its place in the big jigsaw puzzle that is life, I will go and search for the missing piece.

And until you find it, the answer is "i don't know", right?

The answers i seek is within the teaching so to look within my own being is the solution to gaining the answers after i read the scripture:)

We all need the guidance of our Creator.....that old adage is true...."when all else fails, read the instructions".
Better still, read the instructions first and avoid the mistakes, the results of which can sometime last a lifetime. :( God had his word recorded for our benefit.

A thing i found in my search is that no matter how deep within me i seek, the answer always get more clear, but those answers i find is given to me for my own development as a spiritual person. That means that when i do speak to others, they might not understand me, because the answers they have gotten themselves was only meant for them to understand. Every person see truth in their own understanding, not in what others have come to understand.

As a Christian, I cannot agree with that as it is not what Christ taught. Wisdom and knowledge are useless unless they are shared. It isn't just about us as individuals. Jesus made sure that he imparted the same knowledge to all who heard him preach.....and he encouraged his disciples to spread that knowledge far and wide. To think only of self is not in keeping with the ethic he promoted. By all means improve yourself, but help others to improve themselves too. It is why we are urged to meet together to encourage one another. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

As the apostle Paul said....
"For if the trumpet sounds an indistinct call, who will get ready for battle? 9 In the same way, unless you with the tongue use speech that is easily understood, how will anyone know what is being said? You will, in fact, be speaking into the air." (1 Corinthians 14:8-9)

What is learned is shared for the benefit of all, not just individuals. That is how I understand Christ's teachings.

Hope this made any sense :)

You always make sense to me. :D
