Please, listen carefully, it no longer matters about the dispersed. The dispersed and all Israel are those who were blood related to Abraham See these scriptures: The Israelites were chosen because they were blood related to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We could discuss the dispersion, as those who rejected Jesus did; or, we can discuss God's Truth about how salvation is NO LONGER about those who are BLOOD RELATED, as those of the dispersion are.
1. Someone who touts to have the truth should be able to provide clear, direct interpretations of the text, yet this reply is extremely vague and dodgy. So who are the dispersed--the Jews or gentiles?
Deuteronomy 7:8But it was because the LORD loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
Deuteronomy 4:37Because he loved your ancestors and chose their descendants after them, he brought you out of Egypt by his Presence and his great strength,
Deuteronomy 9:5 It is not because of your righteousness or your integrity that you are going in to take possession of their land; but on account of the wickedness of these nations, the LORD your God will drive them out before you, to accomplish what he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
Micah 7:20You will be faithful to Jacob, and show love to Abraham, as you pledged on oath to our ancestors in days long ago. The ANCESTORS of the Israelites are ABRAHAM, ISAAC, and JACOB.
2. You did not answer the question, "Can you find me an OT reference where all twelve tribes were
definitively referred to as
Jews"? Don't see the Hebrew term for "Jews" anywhere in these scriptures.
John 1:13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.
Did you read that? NOT of natural descent. That is about BLOOD RELATIVES. All the Israelites, including the dispersed---are blood related to Abraham. We are NOT saved anymore according to whom we are blood related.
3. Read in its correct context, nothing in the text suggests John is eliminating the requirement of ancestry, he is merely explaining the additional new covenant requirement of an Israelite being born again, not from a flesh and blood human being, but from God, which was not available to the old covenant Israelites. It was an added condition not a replacement.
The NLT confirms this interpretation:
Joh 1:13 They [Israelites] are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.
Christ re-emphasizes this truth to Nicodemus a few chapters later.
Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Joh 3:4 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"
Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
We need to interpret scriptures in their context and leave our biases aside.
Nothing in scripture, when read in its correct context, suggests ancestry was eliminated.
So then, do not worry about if you have Jew blood in you, for those ENDLESS GENEOLOGIES ARE WORTHLESS. 1 Timothy 1:4 or to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. Such things promote controversial speculations rather than advancing God's work--which is by faith. We are saved by FAITH, and not by whom we are blood related.
4. One explanation for this passage is Paul was speaking against those who use this literary technique to mythologize Scripture. These Jewish mythologies transformed the history of the Old Testament into fables through the process of allegorization. Philo was the most infamous of those Jews who were guilty of allegorizing Scripture.
The “endless genealogies” Paul warns against were gnostic divinities, which developed as a result of vain philosophical speculations about the nature of the godhead. Gnostics in Paul's day believed themselves to be related, by way of a divine genealogy.

The scriptures dedicate full chapters to genealogy. Paul made several references to being a Hebrew/Israelite and a descendant of Abraham (2Co 11:22; Php 3:5-6). Israel is the fourth most popular noun in the bible emphasizing the importance God places on genealogy. He wrote of his own genealogical group as exclusive recipients of God’s glory, service, covenants, adoption, and promises (Rom 9:4).
Paul would be speaking from both sides of his mouth if the passages in Timothy and Titus condemned talk of God’s chosen genealogical subjects –the Israelites.
