Life is a drug that always kills the user.
I am not worried about dying so much as concerned that the kids will have flown the nest before i do.
I have always desired to die in my sleep when the time comes, but now I'm thinking I might want to be conscious when death happens. Death is as natural as is life. Should it be feared?

I have heard that some people find surrender when they near death.Nonetheless, one doesn't need to fear the idea of death. Just when it comes be ready for a slew of emotions.
For me, I fear pain. I would rather die in my sleep but I have a feeling it would be from an illness or a car crash/some type of accident.

I also like the other:Life is a drug, I like that analogy.

Most of us will not die peacefully in our sleep, but conscious, likely in pain, or having trouble drawing breath, or some other fearsome thing. So dying I think, can be quite fearful. Death (the state of being dead), however, isn't in the least frightening.

Same here. I do not fear death but the pain that comes along with it.
No because once it happens, you won't care enough to worry about it.I have always desired to die in my sleep when the time comes, but now I'm thinking I might want to be conscious when death happens. Death is as natural as is life. Should it be feared?
