Because of his generalized hatred of the beliefs of half the world population. I've pointed out the genocidal undertones of his rhetoric more than once but he likes to pretend it isn't there. In addition some really important ground is broken by re-analysis of the scriptures used by Christian evangelicals. As you can see the opinion of militant atheism makes almost zero difference to the faithful, and it is fortunate that there can be conversation within the faith including the fundamentalist faith about homosexuality.

The problem, I think, is that what is good for the goose is now bad for the gander. Opposing atheism and homosexuality, for example, would generally not be construed as genocidal unless accompanied by some intent to physically destroy atheists and gays. I don't believe you can fix people. You can deter them a bit with laws and punishments, but that doesn't change who they are.

So yes it'd be nice but I seriously doubt it is going to happen.

In the bible, they did not have medical treatment. Quarantine and keeping gays in enforced isolation for a period of time to limit or prevent the spread of disease or infection or just putting them to death before the disease spreads to unsuspecting unknowing innocent children and other victims and families seemed to the prophets and wise, godly men - the best way. its all about blood crimes. I have Gay friends, i have wept and cried with friends who are at their last stages of dying from aids and rectal, bowel cancers,stomach. Homosexuals are in danger and place others in danger. i know. I have spent time in the trenches. changing diapers cleaning up vomit and bathroom. Bloody foam from the mouth. If this thread were about STD's we'd be discussing the reality about diseases, that diseases sometimes appear and kill lots of people with no apparent reason. Its like with anything that people want to call a miracle that really isn't. They just want miracles and signs badly enough to call almost anything a sign or miracle. Somebody has surgery and survives, so they call it a miracle to shore up their doubts. Its not any different. STD's have to be a sign from God in your opinion because why? Have you considered that it isn't homosexual acts themselves, but rather sexual habits such as not using condoms and having anonymous sex? That's a good way for even heterosexual people to spread and contract STIs.

This is of course a reference to a 1989 Journal of Sex Research article by the late researcher Kurt Freund, who concluded that homosexuals were not any more disposed to pedophilia than heterosexuals
The 33% figure that you have falsely taken from Freund’s research is only reached by assuming that every case of men molesting boys is committed by a “homosexual” man — a conclusion rejected by virtually all legitimate sex researchers. As Freund said, "since most pedophiles have no sexual interest in adults of either gender, terms like “homosexual” and “heterosexual” don’t apply at all.
