Should religion be focused on finding the truth?

Why? Do you think I can't tell when someone is doing religion wrong? Do you think we should be hiding this fact from them, or from others, when we see it?

How could you tell if someone is doing religion wrong? There is no way to investigate the accuracy of religious pronouncements.

All you can say is that they have fallen for a different scam than you have.

It's not about the accuracy of religious revelation, it's about whether or not one's religious practice is aligned with that revelation, and adheres to it's revealed truth, or not.

- not all religions are "revealed" religions.
- why would you expect someone with "revealed truth" to go looking for what they think they already have?
