Wow.

And an equally stupid point is raised there, or should I say a rather sneaky and stupid one, is their attempt to paint the stupidity of the Greens on one subject with the legitimacy of another topic. As if just because one particular group or person is clueless about one thing, that the entire debate on genetic modification is just as stupid. Nice attempt at exploitative false equivocation.

That would be like saying "Well the Lefties are wrong about Socialism, so let's ignore everything they say about ending Corporate Subsidies". Not the best example.

You know, as much as I found this joke amusing in high school, I have to confess I'm really tired of seeing it now. And I have a hard time believing that this joke has persisted for at least a decade. Probably longer. Who started this, anyway?

People being ignorant and uninformed isn't supposed to be funny, especially when it comes to supporting political agendas and legislation.

Having abit of a chemistry background, it only took a look to see the di-hyrogen and mono-oxide, figure that out, and then I remembered the hoax once I realized that is an odd way of saying H2O.

I say ban it. It kills people, especially people who don't know how to swim.

How on earth could you even try to ban water? Without water, life would cease to exist.
I suspect by putting everyone in jail and from behind the bars say all the guilty "criminals" are paying for their "horrible" crimes.

Please register your vote before watching the video about this chemical found in acid rain, junk food & our waterways.

I didn't watch the video but was researching the term because I was unfamiliar with it. I guess what it boils down to is doing intense research if you're not sure what it is. I'm waiting for the call to ban Hydroperoxic Acid. The name just sounds so bad... I mean it's acid so it must be bad.... (LOL!....:D)

It should absolutely be banned. Flat out, total ban. We should in fact invent some machine that could take all H2O and completely remove it from our planet.

(Dry humor.)

I said unsure cause I never heard of it, then looked at it and realized it's a fake way of saying water.

It's a lie!!! The evil anti-DHMO conspiracy is trying to make you believe it's the same as water. But it's not! It's a dangerous chemical... I read it in an old book, so it must be true!!!

I just remembered an old pet peeve of mine.

Why do people give any weight to the idea of banning things that have "too many chemicals on them"? It bothers me because it has been used as an argument against drugs, which weakens the cause by association. Drugs are a serious issue. Avoiding situations that involve "hundreds of chemicals" is just silly.

Now I have to clean the DMHO laced coffee off of my computer monitor! Do I need to call in a Haz-Mat team?
