Should women be allowed to belch and fart?

If only the attitude at RF was the norm.
It should be encouraged

I think equality on the issue should be yes.

I have witnessed way different reactions when it comes from a female.

Let's just be humans.

Try not to hide.

It can be unpleasant sometimes.

I think it's cute when women belch and fart out loud in public, largely because of how not acceptable it is.

I don't like perfect people. No thanks!

To be fair, there might be times when it can get a bit overboard. There was this woman I worked with who was complaining about her teenage son and a few his friends over one time, and they were having a farting contest. She said she was about to throw them all out of the house if they didn't stop.

((Hugs)). Bless your fart! :)

It's fine with me, but I would caution you on how some guys will react. ;)

Normal men(and women) don't usually like me much. That's fine, I don't like them, either.

I've gotten both love and loathing for gassy behavior. One guy about got physical with me(in an aggressive way) because I belched in a bar. (Women shouldn't act like that, he thought.) Another guy about got physical with him for being aggressive with me. He put Mr. Loudmouth in his place, and turned around and gave me a five. :) Battle won.

Oh, please. But weren't we all taught as kids (I know I was) to get yourself a little apart from others when you felt either coming on? You know, like how we go into a bathroom and close the door before whipping it out and having a pee.

Sometimes it isn't on purpose when gas escapes or you burb.

Just sayin...

In my experience, most of the time I know when these things are imminent, and I usually have a few moments to politely widen the distance between me and others. Not always (for which we have the words "excuse me"), but most of the time.

Some people treat it way different when it comes from a female as oppose to the same bodily function coming from a male was what I was getting at.

It's how I was raised.
But now I don't necessarily feel it coming on, and I may have farts that can be embarrassingly loud and long and nasty sounding, when they're like that they also tend to come with a great deal of abdominal relief so there's a trade off.

I believe it could be statistically shown that approximately 50% of all flatulence and eructation are generated by humans who don’t have a Y chromosome.

I mean , how do you feel about women belching or farting around you?

My experience is there is a huge double standard.

We were in chemical dependency group and the female chemical dependancy counselor let one rip really loudly while she was speaking about recovery, and the whole room is shocked an in disbelief. After group, no one can stop talking about it.

If it had been a guy farting, no big deal or shock, right?

Personally, I like a girl/woman to burp or fart around me without shame or guilt, because it breaks the ice and makes her more approachable.

It shows she isn't a superficial actress (fake).

I knew two pretty girls in my lifetime who could belch way louder than me. I was impressed and find it endearing. :D. One of them burped quite frequently and loudly actually more than anyone I know.

We need to stop shaming people for being human!

Why shouldn't they.
Men will fart and burp and laugh about it while women will try to hide it.
Do they hide it because of embarrassmentt or ridicule?
