My God.... you thought I had all my nuts and bolts? I need more than a service and oil change....... !! :p
You don't know what I'm talking about?
Savage..... I don't know what I'm talking about.
I love you! (is that trolling?)

No! He says he won't go about in a T shirt anymore because it makes him too attractive and sexy, causing unnecessary arousal in women. Which is what Veronica said... :p
A T shirt makes him sexy. Got it!

She implied that. She said, 'I must no longer wear leggings because they arouse men and .... etc'
That is called sarcasm I think.

I don't mind what V wears, but clearly she is worried about attracting men and turning their hearts from God.
Clearly she is worried about the men who believe what she wears can turn people's hearts from God imo.

No... you've got it all....... but my man analogy was close (ish) and it made him look vain and big headed, so..... that's what I thought of Veronica's proposal.
:p
Hm. Vain and big headed? Is sarcasm vain and bigheaded? I didn't know. Maybe that explains my big head. Thank you.

Doubting Thomas
Yup, sure have! In fact, all the time. However, as an adult I can choose whether or not I am going to act on my sense of smell and eat the food. We are all responsible for our own reactions to stimulus. Some people attempt to foist their actions off on others using the excuse that 'they tempted me' or 'they encouraged me' or some other flimsy excuse to try to pass the blame for their decisions on to others.
I basically agree

It is a real question. I am not kidding. A plain and well dressed woman who is ovulating is much more alluring than a beautiful scantily dressed woman. This is a fact.

Why does God allow ovulating women to be among men but doesn't allow bathingsuits? Please answer the question.

It's not rocket science.

There is a law which God wrote. But he didn't really write it. Someone else wrote it. It is that women should dress modestly. Mosdest means covered up (but not really). Modest means appropriate for each occasion for real. Most of the time I am at home in pajama type clothes. For me it is appropriate. If my husband liked the June Cleaver type pajamas would not be appropriate when he is present. But I won't wear high heels.

So according to some people God wrote a law which prohibits a woman's skin and shape to show. According to them God wrote the law to protect men, not women. Of course women would be protected against rape most of the time being covered correctly but rape is against most everyone's law and the law has never had a ammendment about dress I think.

Now we know about ovulation. We need a new law accordingly. Yes?

If a woman goes to work while she is ovulating and she must walk home after work (poor thing) and no one will walk with her and she isn't carrying a gun or a knife and she isn't a black belt so someone rapes her. Should she had stayed home that day?

Why isn't there a God's law about it?

Just tell me why there isn't a law about women going out when they ovulate and I shall shut up. I promise. I mean I'll shut up about law about women for men and the woman everyone should be.

If you can't make a coherent sentence about an idea it means the idea is just wrong.

Another of putting it is why did not God have a law written to protect men from ovulating women but did have a law written to protect men from um women who don't have enough clothes on?

Why would you even ask this question? Maybe because God isn't that stupid?

I am asking the people who say it is God's law for a woman to be covered so that men are not tempted. I do not agree with it. Is God stupid enough to prohibit certain clothes? Some people think so.

You will be assimilated; it is His Will.

Perhaps she should stay at hom e then.

Whether we call it a law or not is perhaps another matter. I think the word in the NT and the examples of the middle east now and in the past make it obvious how men and especially women should dress. Perhaps it is your western attitude that shapes your thinking.
Thinking of someone else by covering cannot be a bad thing, surely.

But she is an orphan too young to be married and too old to be coddled. Then what?
What is your point?
You obviously think women should wear what they want, even if that means less clothing. So do it. If you are right, then fine.
